Things to know

All the details you'll need, and more.
Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Think Garden Party/Outdoor Wedding: fun dresses, ties optional, but please friends *no high heels* as the event will all be outside on dirt and grass, and we want you to be comfortable and dance! Wedges or flats are encouraged. And loc's, please no jeans or hiking boots.

Question

California in August? Sunshine here I come!

Answer

Not so fast. The Central Coast can be quite cold until the fog burns off around noon and rolls back in after dinner. It will be in the 40s at night, with an ocean breeze coming in right off the bluffs. Don't forget your fleeces, coats, and beanies for evenings at Camp Schmoldenkranz by the campfire, and a maybe a layer for the wedding, which will be outdoors.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes, we love your kids and would love to have them join the party, but also want our friends and family to enjoy some time away if that is what your heart desires. Please include in your kids in the RSVP so we can plan accordingly, including baby sitting options for the party.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes - please let us know of any food allergies ahead of time so we can tell our caterers!

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Check out the registry tab!

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

If you are not staying at camp, please plan on arriving at Costanoa by 3:30 pm so we can start promptly at 4.
