Maid of Honor / Sister of the Bride
Katharine met the bride in 1996. It was a cool February morning, and Katharine was not impressed by "Pumkin Head." Katharine made her displeasure known by immediately bursting into tears upon her entrance into her mother's hospital room. Eventually, Katharine warmed up to Susan-Douglas and now 29 years later Katharine is ecstatic to be a part of Susan-Douglas's big day as her Maid of Honor.

The Groom is honored to have his brother by his side on this special day. He looks forward to celebrating not just as brothers, but as lifelong friends.
Bridesmaid
Cassie was (more or less) the Bride’s roommate during their freshman year at Converse University, née College. Cassie’s kindness, sharp sense of humor, and her ability to convert anyone to her love of video games and Korean television made her one of the highlights of the Bride’s first year of college—and her first year 8 hours away from home. Cassie and the Bride shared the mutual woe of student teaching, but Cassie has since switched to the dark side of higher education. The Bride can't wait to have Cassie at her side for her big day.
Groomsman / Brother of the Groom
Brooks stumbled into the groom's life sometime in 1997. Known for his love of cherry cordials and serving his country, Brooks has always been the kind of person who approaches life with an unwavering sense of belief — including his heartfelt conviction that the family once took a trip to Long John Silver's, even if it never quite happened. The Groom is honored to have Brooks stand unwaveringly at his side for his wedding.
Bridesmaid
Carson believes she first met the Bride in 2014, while they were a part of a faux New Year's Eve photo shoot. (Converse was getting ahead of the Christmas card rush) The Bride thought they met in one of their countless education or English courses; maybe they met in their freshmen year residence hall? Their friendship was definitely sealed while working as R.As together at Converse University (née women's College). Carson's big heart, and theatrical humor were a light through tough courses, tougher student teaching placements, and the toughest years of teaching. The Bride can't wait to see Carson's stellar smile next to her on her wedding day.
Groomsman
Daniel first crossed paths with the groom in 2013 at their old haunt, Apollo's House of Pizza. For years, they shared countless memories, holding court at the beloved spot, until Daniel enlisted in the Marines to serve and defend American ideals. Now, after Daniel's transition back to civilian life in Spartanburg, the groom is thrilled to have Daniel by his side to celebrate this special occasion.
Bridesmaid
Ashley met the bride at Converse University while working in Residential Life, where her “can-do” attitude and signature sass quickly stood out. Their friendship truly blossomed after college when, by a stroke of luck, Ashley moved in next door just in time for everyone's favorite "unprecedented time", COVID. Since then, Ashley has been a constant source of laughter, support, and strength. She's been by the bride's side throughout the wedding planning journey and is beyond excited to help make this day absolutely perfect.
Groomsman
Harley and the Groom first crossed paths in 2019 through mutual friends, quickly forming a bond over their shared love of Sea of Thievery, Legends of Apex, and Master Chiefs. Harley is not only an accomplished drummer but also a top-tier gamer, making him the perfect addition to any adventuring party. The Groom is thrilled to have Harley by his side on this adventure, joining his wedding party.
