What should I wear?

Semi-Formal attire is requested. Grinnell College describes Semi-Formal as- more dressed up than you'd wear to work in an office and less fancy than going to a gala. If the event is at night, dressier is better. For those who opt for pants suits and dresses, choose garments made of slightly more lavish climate-appropriate materials, including cashmere or silk. Shorts, jeans, and tshirts would not fit these guidelines.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

The ceremony will be held outdoors (weather permitting) with the reception inside. Visitors from "up north" will find the temperature on the mild side. Temperatures can range from as high as 70 degrees, or as low as 30 degrees. However, according to AccuWeather, the average temperature in Taylors, South Carolina in December is 58°F with a low of 37°F. If like the Maid of Honor you're sensitive to cold, it is unlikely you'll regret bringing a jacket (she's packing a blanket).

Can I bring my emotional support vape pen, THC/CBD vape, flask, Marlboros, or Wesley Pipe?

Answer

Nope. The venue will escort you off the property. In all seriousness, there is a strict no smoking policy at this venue. Their policy does include all manner of e-Cigarettes. Additionally, per the vendor rules there is no outside food, drink, or flowers. Thank you for your compliance. :)
