Things to Do

The Wedding Website of Susan-Douglas Smith and Blair McNeal
Careful, if "you step onto the road, and if you don't keep your feet, there's no knowing where you might be swept off to.” You might even end up on an adventure the Bride and Groom have already trod. Spartanburg & Greenville have a lot of fun activities to offer, as do the surrounding parts of the Carolinas. We hope you'll be able to enjoy your time visiting the south lands! Below you will find some of our favorite Greenville stops.

Maple Street Biscuit Co.

18 E North St, Greenville, SC 29601

A great breakfast and brunch place all themed around biscuits. The Bride and Groom recommend the Hashbowl or the Chix and Waffles. Seasonally, they serve a great hot coco as well.

Group Therapy Pub & Playground

320 Falls St Suite G,, Greenville, SC 29601

Greenville's Downtown Playground. Unwind, indulge, and let loose at Group Therapy, the ultimate destination for a perfect blend of relaxation and exhilaration. Located in the heart of Greenville, our pub and playground offers a one-of-a-kind experience with a mix of food, cocktails, and an array of activities to elevate your socializing game to a whole new level. The Groom and some of his groomsmen, really recommend the put put course. The Bride always recommends axe throwing.

Crust & Craft Greenville

123 South Main Street, Greenville, SC 29601

A casually cultured restaurant that offers unique pizzas, American food, cocktails, and craft beer. It is known for its seasonal menu, using high-quality ingredients and Italian-made ovens to create its wood-fired pizzas. The Bride recommends the Greek Salad, and the Groom is always a fan of a Buffalo pizza

Falls Park on the Reedy

Falls Park on the Reedy

601 South Main Street, Greenville, SC 29601

Downtown Greenville offers beautiful sights, restaurants, and shops. Try an afternoon stroll through Reedy Park, grab an ice cream cone, a meal, or do a little shopping.

N. Main Street- Shopping!

North Main Street features a collection of Local shops, the Mast General Store, and chain favorites. An easy stroll from the A.C Hotel, Peace Center, or Spring Street Parking Garage. The Bride recommends checking out Spartina for a SC original leather handbag.

Greenville Zoo

150 Cleveland Park Drive, Greenville, SC 29601

The Bride and Groom haven't checked out this local favorite, but are big fans of animals. The zoo is on the smaller size, but features some big animals. Add this stop to your day for an outside adventure, assuming the weather cooperates.

Biltmore

Biltmore

Asheville, NC 28803

If you're willing to turn your Upstate South Carolina adventure into a Northwestern Carolina Adventure. The Bride and Groom have loved their trips to the Biltmore Estate. Only 1.5hrs north of Spartanburg, it's a beautful drive into the North Carolina Mountains. Fabulous spot for photos, wine tasting, and taking in some history.
