Please wear white, but casual! If you don't have white bottoms, or solid white, don't worry. Come as you are!
A callejoneada is a traditional Mexican wedding parade featuring giant colorful puppets and live music! Our callejoneada will serve as a welcome party to thank our guests for traveling for our big day. We will meet in the plaza at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, March 13th. From there, we will dance our way to a little rooftop bar to toast, and share a few drinks and lite appetizers. Some guests will keep the party going on the roof and some will want to leave for dinner. If you plan on making dinner reservations we suggest you make them for 7:30 p.m. or later. PLEASE NOTE: alcohol is not allowed on the streets of San Miguel de Allende. If we are caught with alcohol in the streets, our wedding planner could lose her event license for a year so please do not risk taking drinks onto the streets! If you do want a drink before, we encourage you to get to the plaza early to enjoy a few cocktails before the callejoneada starts to loosen up and get your dancing feet moving!
4:30 pm - 5:30 pm
The attire is Semi-Formal / Fancy Cocktail
Shuttles will leave Hotel Real de Minas at 3:30 p.m. and return throughout the night. Guests may also rely on Uber or Lyft. If guests choose to make their own transportation arrangements to the ceremony, we ask that you arrive promptly.
