Dress warm and bring a flashlight with extra batteries. The Lava Tubes are fun to explore and stay cool year round.

Downtown Flagstaff is a great place to eat, drink and go shopping (Taylor loves the Old Town Shops). Also, the Sweet Shoppe Candy Store has yummy caramel apples to enjoy.
The beer here is so good! We love to bring our dog, Mack, and sit on the patio.
They are famous for their large Yardjars and beers on tap. The food is also yummy. If you’re a fan of Reubens, the Stephens’ family is obsessed with the Reuben Egg Rolls here.
Great outdoor patio with specialty cocktails and yummy bites!
Taylor is a coffee fiend and loves Macy’s! Her favorite is a double Macy’s Special which features espresso, steamed hot chocolate and fresh whipped cream.
The Grand Canyon is around 1.5 hours away, but is a world wonder for a reason!
The drive from Flagstaff to Sedona (down Highway 89A) is breathtaking. There are trees, creeks, red rocks and eventually you’ll arrive in downtown Sedona, which offers food and shops. Sedona is a great day-trip destination with lots of hiking options.
