A truly unique Salt Lake City attraction, Temple Square is the headquarters for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. The Temple and quite a bit of the 5 city blocks are under construction, but there are still many parts of Temple Square you can visit and tour.
If you're looking for green space away from Downtown, we suggest Liberty Park. Enjoy a Gourmandise bakery pastry on a spring day under the trees, take a walk, or visit the Tracy Aviary.
Simply the best for brunch, and you can't beat the location. The trip up Emigration Canyon to Ruth's only takes 10-15 minutes from downtown SLC but is a refreshing excursion from the city. We recommend the outdoor seating.
The University of Utah Utes play football here, but the real reason to come here in April is to see the Olympic cauldron from the 2002 Winter Games. There's a plaza with the cauldron and information plaques on the west side of the stadium.
A little further away from downtown, Eggs in the City has been Curtis's long-time brunch favorite. He always orders the eggs benedict.
If you're the shopping type, City Creek Center is one of the malls in Downtown SLC.

If you're a golfer, Eaglewood is a fun and challenging course with views of the valley and the Great Salt Lake. Curtis plays this course often with his family.
The aquarium is great if you're looking for a family-friendly way to spend some time indoors! Watch them feed the penguins, see sharks, and learn about the unique ecosystems here in the Great Basin.
The Hogle Zoo is another great place for families and very popular in the spring!
