This event is adults only, thank you.
Please let us know if you have any restrictions or requirements.
We will not be renting a car. If you'd like to rent a car on your own our host recommends reserving directly at the airport. There are very specific places to park near the villa. It is all street parking. At the end of the street is a parking lot that is a two minute walk from the house.
Lunches are on your own and there are plenty of restaurant, cafe, or street food options. We will have basic provisions for sandwiches and other picnic foods if you'd like to pack a lunch from home.
Send your house fund money to Steve Robinson as well. We have planned designated runs to the shops for all of our house needs.
Yes, our kitchen is fully equipped for 28 guests. We have a few nights of fun and interactive cooking planned! We also have two hosts and a catering company that can help us with anything we may require.
We will be arriving a different to the Villa at various times. We will have your room awaiting your arrival. Please let us know if you need a vacation from stairs and we will accommodate your request.
https://sitgesluxuryrentals.com/villa/masia-victoria/ and here is the video from their page: https://youtu.be/T67S19QKzY4. Unfortunately, I cannot embed the full link on this Zola website. Attached to the first group email is a brochure with good information from the floor plan to amenities and they answer some additional questions we may not cover here.
Yes! All the linens (sheets, bathroom towels, beach towels, dish towels) will be provided and we can have housekeeping for an additonal fee. If there is interest from the house we can schedule a cleaning but we believe we will be alright without extra maid service.
The villa recommends bottled water although the tap is safe. We are working on having a water bubbler so we will be able to use re-usable water bottles and glassware. If not, we will have water bottles in-stock at the house.
There are blow dryers in each bathroom. However, the voltage in Spain is 230 V and 50 Hz compared to our 120 V. We have purchased a type C converter from Tessan. This is the European adapter 2 version.
We are inquiring with our hosts and will have an answer soon ;)
Credit cards will give you the best exchange rate and should be excepted nearly everywhere near us. However, it is always smart to have some Euros on hand for places that don't accept cards, tips, mad money, smaller street markets/street vendors and if you're thinking of taking excursions in smaller towns.
Good walking shoes and layer-able items is our style and recommendation. The average weather for the time of our visit is between 75-85 degrees during the day. The sun sets later in the evenings which stay pleasantly warm until 9pm. You'll definitley want your party clothes as well! General attire notes are listed along with the events.
Everyone travels and spends differently but here is a starting place: Average price based on other travelers: On an economic end, generally €27 on meals and €15 on local transporation. Per person, per day. Another great thing about having our luxurious villa for the entire week is having access to breakfast at home, lunch provisions, and the planned event dinners. The Metro in Barcelona has a 10 Trips for 10 Euros, which may be a better deal than a weekly pass depending on how much you plan to use it.
Check with your phone service provider for what calls and texting may cost. We will have a group text while we are there for information sharing otherwise for all issues text Clayton at 617-637-5867.
