Welcome Night

This is our first night to meet all of your new extended family which is anyone you don't already know. Starting earlier than the following nights meals, we will share an abundant spread of Spanish charcuterie, salads, breads, and other light fare to celebrate the start of a fabulous week in Spain. Currently, we will be able to check into the villa at 3pm. We will update you with information about luggage. Enjoy the morning and early afternoon around the area at your leisure and we will kick off the festivities around 5pm.

Spanish Potluck

This evening's meal will feature rotisserie chickens, a staple of Spanish dinners, as the main and a variety of collected side dishes, desserts, and drinks. Clayton and I will be collecting this evening's meal from various places throughout the city. If you would like to participate in this meal, we will get you involved the night before.

Gina's Artisan Pizza

Our second celebration together at our lovely estate! Tonight we'll bond over a new tradition adopted during a visit to the Northern California wine region we shared with my parents, my Uncle Jack and Aunt Gina. We spent a gorgeously sunny, May day tasting wine at a few different wineries and found great dinner wines to bring home for the evening's meal. After our tastings we visited a market to pick out our favorite pizza toppings to adorn Gina's perfect pizza dough. The results were amazing; small pizzas featuring a variety of cheeses, shallots, potatoes, caramelized onions, garlicky vegetables, sausage and other meats paired with the discovered wines of the day and our Pizza and Wine night was born. This easy meal, turned tradition, has been a part of as many visits as possible since then and we can’t wait to share it with everyone.

Paella Thank You Meal

Dinner party attire
A thank you dinner to everyone for coming to Spain to celebrate with us. As it is also the rehearsal day, we will give you details about plans for the wedding and the bridal party will rehearse the wedding during the afternoon. For dinner, we'll enjoy a traditional paella meal prepared and served at our villa by our at-home chef. You may wish to come home for dinner early to enjoy a one-of-a-kind experience with our chef, learning about the culture and history of Catalan cuisine as the meal is prepared. Dinner will be served at 7:00 pm.
Dance Preview
8:30 pm
Following our Paella meal, we will attempt ;) to demonstrate and give some short instruction on a few basic dance steps to offer a preview of dancing the following night. Enjoy a fun and completely optional mini event to help put everyone at ease on the dance floor. We are here to enhance your enjoyment of every aspect of our celebration and encourage you all to dance your hearts out!

Cocktail hour begins approximately at 4:00 pm followed by a short and sweet ceremony at 5:00 pm. After the ceremony will be an elegant meal of traditional Spanish tapas ending the evening with dancing, merriment, and cake!

A Belated Bachelor Supper

If Clayton could have the bachelor party of his dreams, it would be all of his best buds together, helping him prepare a delicious, simple, and bountiful meal for the people they love. IMPORTANT: Chefs start time is 4:00 PM. Hopefully getting back to the villa around then will fit in with your day plans. Dinner will be served at 7:00 as usual. This night will be a celebration of late season tomatoes, melty cheese and buttery bread with Clayton's Roasted Heirloom Tomato Soup and Gourmet Spanish Grilled Cheese Sandwiches. He has truly perfected this creamy, yet vegan soup and a grilled cheese (not vegan ;) is one of my most favorite meals which I ask for all the time. Clayton will have detailed instructions and guidance for his team to make this delicious and easy meal.
A Belated Bachelorette Yoga

Yoga/Lounge/Relaxed wear
For an afternoon activity I chose a yoga session at the Villa! Since Clayton and the men will be partying in the kitchen whilst cooking a delicious meal for everyone, I thought it would be nice to have an activity for everyone else as well. It will be my own version of a Bachelorette party. Saturday afternoon at 4:00 is when both the cooking and yoga will start. Our instructor, Niamh will guide us through an hour of vinyasa flow yoga and we'll finish with a refreshing, house-made sun tea. This will either take place in the back patio or on the second-tier patio. Keep an eye peeled for an RSVP message as this event is totally optional or join the group simply to relax in the sunshine, meditate, or rest in a restorative savasana for an hour!

Farewell Brunch

We have arranged another private chef to prepare a morning feast of typical Spanish breakfast delicacies. This meal is to celebrate the fabulous week spent meeting and embracing new family members. This leaves you with an evening to yourselves or to enjoy snacking on our "in-house hors d'oeuvres" to clean out the fridges from our delectable week.
The Last Night

This is a free night. Go out if there is a dinner restaurant you've been wanting to try or spend your last evening in the villa to have an "Empty the Fridge" party. We will assess in the morning and determine what moves we need to make based on everyone's plans for the day and what remains in the fridge.
