Can my kids come to the wedding?
Answer
We love our friends and their growing families, however, all of our wedding events will be limited to adults. Your children are more than welcome to join you on your Oaxacan adventure and if that is the case, we can help you arrange a sitter service for the times that you will be busy. Please email our wedding planner, Friederike at friederike@oaxacadestinationweddings.com Friederike can help you arrange an individual nanny service, coordinate a group care service, and provide a personal insight into the safe childcare options available in Oaxaca City. She can also help with stroller, crib, or toy rentals. She has a lot of experience with this and only recommends services that have been reliably used by other wedding parties.

Where do I buy Indian clothes?
Answer
Thanks to the World Wide Web, consumerism, and globalism, you can buy almost anything online these days. Below are some online shops to help you find the right look. Remember, we prefer that you wear Indian clothing on the day of wedding to really help you immerse yourself into our day. How will I get to the venues?
Answer
The only venue that is outside of the city center is Loma Noble (the wedding ceremony). There will be buses arranged for all of our guests to be taken to the venue and to be brought back to Oaxaca City. The buses will be arranged from several locations in the city center and you will be given a time and place to meet as we get closer to the big day.

What am I going to eat?
Answer
Oaxaca is known internationally for its cuisine. You are in good hands. For our vegetarian friends and family, we have taken careful consideration of you and have a full vegetarian menu available at all events. When you RSVP for the wedding ceremony, you will be asked to choose an option for your meal. The non-vegetarian meal will consist of poultry and seafood. There will be no beef or pork served.

How am I supposed to get around Oaxaca?
Answer
If you are within the city center of Oaxaca, you will be able to walk almost anywhere within 15 minutes. If needed, you can also ask your hotel front desk to arrange a taxi for you as needed. There is no Uber in Oaxaca, so these are the only two options. Our favorite part of Oaxaca is that you can stroll through the streets slowly and discover hidden courtyards and small areas of respite.
