ATTIRE: INDIAN FORMAL IN EARTHEN TONES
Today we will be nestled in the foothills of the Oaxacan Mountains, surrounded by agave and trees. To honor this setting, we ask that you wear traditional Indian formal clothing in earthen tones—colors that reflect the natural world around us. Think warm browns, ivory, olive greens, rich taupe, sandy beige, and subtle yellow. The goal is a harmonious, organic palette that feels grounded in nature while remaining elegant and thoughtfully styled to our Indian heritage. We have found that a quick Google search of "earthen tones" is helpful. We ask that you please avoid wearing shades of red or pink. The paths at Loma Noble are manicured gravel, so we advise against stilletos!

CALENDA

We will kick-off our Reception with a traditional Oaxacan Calenda. The term "Calenda" refers to a type of celebratory parade or public procession, similar to an Indian Baraat. We will begin the Calenda in a central location and make our way to the Reception venue. The Calenda will last ~25 minutes. Join us for this colorful parade through the streets of Oaxaca City!

Get ready to dance! Tonight is all about celebrating our friends, families, and the love that has grown among all of us this weekend. We will be curating a Oaxacan market complete with rotating food stalls and drink stations. As the evening progresses, our venue will slowly transform into an energetic discoteca with a high-voltage DJ. We have a few surprises in store, so get ready to party long into the night! Formal, but make it spicy? Think classic wedding reception outfit but with an elevated high-fashion sass. Serve us your sharpest most stunning look... just make sure you can dance in it.
