Excursions and Tours!

Isla Mujeres, Q.R., Mexico
On Friday, we're offering an optional group excursion for those who have signed up! We will be leaving from the front of Hotel Mahekal at 8:00a and headed on a boat tour. Please bring $89 per adult in USD cash with you to pay the guide the morning of. Make sure to bring your comfortable clothes/shoes, change of clothes, towel, bathing suit, sunscreen, day bag, and whatever else you may need! (Water is provided.) You should be able to leave things on the bus or boat if needed while we go into town but I would not plan to bring anything valuable. Here is what is included: Catamaran Tour to Islas Mujeres - $89 per person / $79 per child - 8:00a - 6:30p - Transportation included with round trip by boat - Includes lunch buffet and open bar - Visit beach club and enjoy free time in downtown - Snorkeling and swimming off boat (includes gear)

Casual / Beach Cocktail
Come join us for a cocktail hour at the Agave Bar at Hotel Mahekal. We'll be there to welcome everyone to Mexico and it will be a great opportunity to see everyone and meet some people you don't know! We'll have a tab open until it runs out, and you'll get a bracelet so the bartenders know you're part of our wedding party. If you're not staying at the resort, you'll need to say your name at the hotel entrance to waive the resort fee (BRING YOUR ID).

Transport to Wedding Venue
3:30 pm
The shuttles to the wedding venue will leave at 3:30p in front of Hotel Mahekal. Please be ready to leave by then. It's about a 20 minute drive to the venue.
Ceremony & Reception

Beach Semi-Formal & Cocktail
Our ceremony will take place on a private beach, and then steps away will be our cocktail hour and reception with dinner and dancing late into the night! Our reception will be under a covered palapa (with wooden floors) but you'll be walking through sand, so we don't recommend stilettos or wool suits. :)
Transport Returning to Hotel
11:00 pm
The first shuttle will leave the venue at 11:00p and will drop off back in front of Hotel Mahekal. This will be FIRST COME FIRST SERVE for 15 people. If you miss it then you'll need to call. your own car (which I'm not sure how difficult it will be) or wait until the 1am. If you anticipate wanting to leave earlier, I suggest scheduling a van with your hotel.
