What is the venue space like?

Answer

We’re getting married under the open sky! Both the ceremony and reception will take place on the lawn, so consider this your formal permission to ditch the stilettos for some "funky" block heels, fancy flats, or even some statement boots. Everything is within a short walking distance on-site, and there is ample parking at the resort for those driving in. We’re planning for a perfect August day, but we’ll move the party indoors if the summer smoke decides to crash the wedding.

What is the dress code?

Answer

It’s a wedding—let’s dress up! But let's keep it fun. We’re going for a "Funky Semi-Formal" look, and when it comes to your outfit, the brighter the better. We encourage vibrant colors, bold prints, and statement jewelry. Show us your personality! A note on comfort: It will likely be a hot summer day in Central Washington, so please wear something you feel cool and comfortable in (aka suit jackets not required). We want you on the dance floor, not melting!

Are kids invited?

Answer

We love your little ones! Children are more than welcome to join us for the Friday night welcome event at the Wenatchee River Institute. However, the ceremony and reception on Saturday are "kids by invitation only." Leavenworth is a very family-friendly destination, and we'd love for you to bring the whole crew for the weekend! There is even a playbarn on site for the kids! If you need help finding local childcare for Saturday night so you can celebrate with us, or if this makes it difficult for you to attend, please reach out to us directly so we can help accomodate.

Since some of our most important family members can't be with us in person, we’re bringing the wedding to you via live stream.
