We understand that this arrangement may not be the most convenient for our friends and family with children, but we kindly request that the weekend be an adult-only affair. We hope that our wedding can serve as the perfect excuse for a weekend getaway, allowing you to spend quality time with your partner.
Due to constraints related to our extensive guest list, we are unable to accommodate plus ones for everyone. When you access the online RSVP, your invitation will specify whether a plus one is included or not. Please accept our sincere apologies for any inconvenience this may cause.
During the ceremony and especially after we say "I Do" as we walk down the aisle, please refrain from using your phones. This request is of particular significance to us because Cortney, the bride, is a wedding photographer, and it's her biggest pet peeve to see friends and family taking photos on their phones, which can inadvertently be captured in the professional photos. Your cooperation will ensure that we have beautifully curated memories to cherish and for you to be fully present. Thank you for your understanding.
We kindly request that you RSVP online through our wedding website for both the Welcome Party and Wedding by April 15th, 2024. This deadline is crucial as it enables us to provide an accurate headcount to our caterer and rental company. Unfortunately, if we do not receive a response by this date, we will regrettably mark you as unable to attend.
Welcome Party Dress Code: Summertime Dressy Casual, light colors, bold patterns and casual materials. For our female guests, we recommend a lovely summer dress or a stylish skirt. As for the gentlemen, a fitted button-up shirt paired with pants. Wedding Dress Code: For the day of the wedding, we kindly invite our guests wear semi-formal attire. We absolutely adore vibrant colors and would appreciate it if you could embrace the spirit of a summer garden party with floral patterns. Please refrain from wearing black. We suggest close toed shoes since guests will have to walk on a dirt road to ceremony and the grass is a bit taller than normal in The Meadow. While long dresses are encouraged for the ladies, it's absolutely acceptable to wear short dresses as well. Again, we recommend avoiding open-toed shoes and it's best not to wear heels. For the gentlemen, we suggest wearing a colored or tan suit or slacks with a formal shirt and tie. Keep in mind that the temperature may drop a bit in the evening, so please remember to bring a coat to stay comfortable throughout the day and into the night. Your adherence to these suggestions will add to the charm of our celebration. In June, we can expect daytime temperatures to reach as high as 75 degrees. However, it's essential to be prepared for cooler evenings, as the nighttime temperatures can drop into the 30's. So, please ensure you have suitable clothing to stay comfortable during both the sunny daytime and the cooler nighttime hours.
The Welcome Party and Wedding will be covered by Shane and Cort for food and beverages. The Going Away Brunch will not be covered by Shane and Cort.
Yes! We will be serving beer and wine at the wedding, but if you'd like to enjoy something else, you are more than welcome to bring your choice of alcohol/ beverages. We will have plenty of non-alcoholic drinks as well!
