This is the location of Chad and Lauren's first date. We recommend grabbing some food and drink and enjoying the beautiful overlook of the Cincinnati skyline. While you drive up through the wooded, curvy road, try to imagine you were Lauren, new to the city, in the car of a stranger you met online...
Not only is this one of the best spots in Over-The-Rhine (locally referred to as 'OTR') in sunny weather, but it is also just outside of where they met on their second date! We recommend walking around the area, stopping by any one of the amazing restaurants (Bakersfield, Gomez are some favorites!) or breweries (Rhinegeist, Taft's).
Just down the street from Chad and Lauren's home, Eden Park offers picturesque views of the river and KY. At the top of the hill is a great (and free!) art museum and around the corner is the Krohn Conservatory. If you are lucky, you may even be able to catch a performance at the theater in the park!
One of the best places in the city to take in the landscape and skyscape. And don't forget to walk on the Purple People Bridge to get to KY!
One of Lauren's favorite breweries in the city. With over 40 beers on tap, each with its own unique flavor, you can never go wrong! They even have gluten-free options for Chad! This spot is also great for people watching. This place is VERY family friend. There are probably more babies and dogs than beer-drinkers.
Another favorite brewery of Lauren (they have wine and liquor options too). Don't forget the delicious food truck or the games to play in the corner.
If you love sour beers as much as Lauren, this is the place for you! Whether it's a midwest berry tart or a key lime pie, they certainly know their sours and do not disappoint!
During Chad and Lauren's second date, they ended the night at this local arcade. Nearly all the old school arcade games are free (sadly, except for pinball) and they have some clever drinks!
Have you ever eaten a 'turtle'? Prepare to have your taste buds be amazed! A local favorite take on the Crunch Wrap Supreme, this is a staple in Lauren's diet and a spot to share will all visitors! And if you like it spicy, make it Diablo style! (P.S. There also is a location in Over-the-Rhine!)
Check out Skyline Chili at any of their Cincinnati locations for classic Cincinnati fare. You just might not want to try it immediately before the wedding ceremony!
A Cincinnati classic. And don't forget to say hi to Fiona the Hippo or Kris the baby cheetah while you are there!
If you plan an extended stay in the Cincinnati area, King's Island is a must! Rollercoasters, water slides, you name it, King's Island has it.
