CVG serves the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky region. The airport is roughly 15 minutes from downtown and the hotels, so fear not, you are flying into the correct location!
Yes! Both the church and reception location are located along the Ohio River which divides Ohio and Kentucky. The ceremony will be on the Ohio side, then there will be a short ride over the river to Kentucky where the reception will be! Lucky for you, being on the Kentucky side for the reception allows you to see the under-appreciated skyline of Cincinnati!
Depends on your preference. There will be some short drives (15-20 minutes) between airport and hotel, hotel and ceremony, ceremony and reception, etc. Both Lyft and Uber are very accessible and relatively inexpensive in Cincinnati, so those will probably be a cheaper option than renting. However, if you want to do more exploring and like the freedom a rental has, by all mean, rent! We highly encourage you to use the hotel shuttle or Uber following reception as the venue is at top of park in a rather windy, wooded area.
Summer's best? Cocktail attire? Whatever you want to call it, we suggest summer dresses for the ladies and blazer and/or tie for the guys! It is July in Cincinnati so it has the possibility of being quite hot! Also, don't forget you dancing shoes!!
Depends... your invitation should indicate whether just you (single or couple) or the family is invited. However, if you are not clear, please ask the bride or groom. Also, if you are in the need of a babysitter, please let us know ASAP! While we know a handful of great options, they are likely going to go quickly!
Lauren is ever excited to become Chad's wife and part of the Hale family, however she will maintain being "Dr. Schmitt". For that reason, the bride and groom request no 'Hale'/'H' monogrammed gifts.
As of now, the Cincinnati Music Festival is still on the weekend of the wedding, so sadly supply and demand is in action. The festival may get postponed which hopefully will drive down prices, so stay tuned.
