Farm Club is a farm, restaurant, brewery and market nestled in Leelanau County just 7 miles from downtown Traverse City. This is our favorite place to eat every time we are up north and have taken inspiration from their seasonal menu to plan our own. We love their outdoor patio and airy dining which are open on a first-come first-served basis.
If you are looking to truly experience all that Northern Michigan has to offer, you need to spend a day on the water, fishing. Check out a charter fishing trip and catch a variety of fish in the bay.
Enjoy a full tasting or just a drink and feel free to order a pizza from next door. Mammoth was where we began the planning process after getting engaged. We loved the Gin & Tonic so much, we will be serving it at the cabin!
A classic Michigan brewery complete with regularly scheduled live music.
Take the ferry to visit Mackinac Island, dividing Lake Michigan and Lake Huron and splitting the upper and lower peninsulas. History. Nature. Relaxation. This island is like a step back in time. Explore the island on horse and buggy or rent a bike to find the best fudge you have ever had. Booking lodging for 1-2 nights on the island is highly recommended for the full experience, but it does book up quickly. Reach out to Sarah for more planning recommendations.
We love exploring the lakeshore on two wheels. Enjoy a ride around the bay on an e-bike, making ice cream stops extra easy.
Did you know we are both Polish? For the best Polish food and all around fun experience, check out Legs Inn. Situated on top of a bluff overlooking Lake Michigan, you won't mind waiting to get a table sipping a cold drink and lounging in the lawn. It is a bit of a drive, but worth every bite. We recommend a late lunch/early dinner as the wait can get quite long.
Enjoy walking through the fields of lavender and stock up on the best smelling soap you will find.
