What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code is suggested snappy casual or spring chic. However, we encourage everyone to dress in whatever makes them feel ready to eat, drink and dance the night away!

How will I RSVP?

Answer

RSVP cards are presented in each invitation. Please return the pre-stamped envelope to the mailbox to be collected by Sarah's mom, Mary Ann.

What is the last date to RSVP?

Answer

Please RSVP by 3/17/2024. We encourage RSVP returns earlier if possible.

What is the address to the wedding venue? Is this location accessible?

Answer

Radegast Hall: 113 N 3rd St Brooklyn NY, 11249 This location is wheelchair accessible via a ramp through the front and side door. There is a separate wheelchair accessible bathroom. This venue is wheelchair accessible. Parking tips are listed under the "Travel" section of this website

Is the wedding indoor or outdoor?

Answer

The wedding venue is indoors. In case of great weather, the roof of the venue has a glass roof that can open up.

Will there be a shuttle or bus to the venue?

Answer

At this time, there are not plans to provide transportation to and from the event. The "Travel" section of our website provides information about travel from the suggested hotels, as well as tips for securing Uber/Lyft or cab.

Will I be able to bring a plus one?

Answer

Invitations including a plus one will be clearly marked as such. Due to limited space at the venue, no additional guests will be able to be added at this time.

Are children invited to the wedding?

Answer

We love your children, but due venue restrictions we are not able to extend invites to children who are not immediate family. Thanks for your understanding.

Should we bring a gift?

Answer

Thanks so much for thinking of us at this time! Our registry is linked within our website should you feel inclined to gift something for us. Please do not burden yourself with bringing gifts to the wedding. Your presence is enough.

Can we post your wedding on social media? Is there a hashtag?

Answer

Please feel free to share anything and everything on social media! Using the hashtag #oncloudohern will help us to look back at our day over and over.

What type of food will be served?

Answer

Our restaurant venue is well known for its German food. Various appetizers will be served during cocktail including vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options. Dinner will consist of a few German classics...think schnitzel, herbed chicken, hearty short ribs and more. Again, vegan and vegetarian options will be included. Late snacks will be provided in the form of freshly fried french fries, burgers, veggie burgers, bratwurst and more to the end of the reception.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Of course! Please enjoy drinks on Remy (our grouchy kitty) the entire night. From the welcome drink to dancing drinks, its taken care of. There will be a variety of wines, house-brewed German beer, a full selection of mid-shelf liquor and a few special surprises.

Is there scheduled time between the ceremony and the reception?

Answer

The cocktail hour will immediately follow the ceremony within the same venue. The party starts right away!

Can you suggest places to eat or things to do while we are in town?

Answer

Please visit the "Things to Do" tab to see more details. There will be QR cards with a full list available at the wedding reception to take along with you for those who are staying through the weekend.
