Sarah was born in raised in southern Ohio who followed her dad and her brother when she decided to attend Ohio State. On the other hand, Tara was from Long Island and ended up in another world at OSU. She was in for a culture shock when she moved to Columbus. She came with a hunger for Buckeye football and left with a belly full of buffalo chicken dip. Although the moment that Tara and Sarah met is up for debate, one thing thats certain is that an ad for a roommate on Facebook led to Tara moving into a three story midwestern college house with one friend and four strangers. Tara initially distanced herself from Sarah, because "there was no way she could really be that peppy." It only took one mess of a housewarming party and a plate of "cheesy potatoes" for a friendship to develop. After another year denying their chemistry, Tara and Sarah began dating in the summer of 2016. The next few years are full of college memories filled with college memories, football wins (only a few losses) and plenty of adventures. Tara was so smitten she agreed to stay in Ohio a little while longer. But, a year later they packed up their U-Haul with their modest possessions and their cat, Remy, and moved to Brooklyn. Over four years in Brooklyn have brought a total of three different apartments, lists of new friends who became family, some of the best food available, and of course some of the most trying moments. A stumble into a vintage jewelry store in late 2022 led to an engagement just a month later. It is a dream come true to be able to have our friends and family celebrate our love together. We are beyond excited to eat, drink and laugh along all of you on May 17.
