Melissa RallasMelissa Rallas

Matron of Honor

I met Sarah when I was five and a half years old on November 19th, 1996- the day she was born. Sarah became not only my real life baby doll that I could dress up and play with, but also my life long best friend.

Best Man

I’ve known Riley since I was born on May 20th, 2000. He used to torment me when we were young but now we get along so well that he made me the best man at his wedding!

Maid of Honor

Sarah and I met sophomore year of high school in class, and when she invited me over one day, I quickly realized life with her would never be boring. From that moment on, I knew I’d found a friend for life, and we’ve been by each other’s side ever since—cheering each other on through every season, the highs and the lows. I feel so honored to stand by her side through yet another season. This one will be the best one yet!

Best Man

I met Riley back in second grade, and from elementary through middle, high school, and even college—through questionable decisions, true anarchy, and a stint as roommates at the legendary 25 Beckford Street—we went from best friends to brothers. I’ve seen him grow from the #1 troublemaker in school to the man he is now—thoughtful, caring, and somehow respectable (most of the time). But let’s be honest, his luckiest break was still meeting me in the second grade. Can’t wait to celebrate and to watch him kick off this next chapter with the only person willing to tolerate his Civil War obsession and, even more impressively, his slightly deranged sense of humor.

I originally met Sarah over 15 years ago when we were on the same competition cheer squad. A year later, when four of the local middle schools all merged into our brand new high school, Oakdale, I recognized Sarah, so we started chatting & pretty much haven’t stopped talking since— ask Riley! In high school we cheered together, took a lot of the same classes and spent countless sleepovers in each other’s childhood homes. Sarah has always been my comfort friend— someone I can be myself & just relax with for days on end. We separated for college, but made visiting each other a priority! We both went on to become nurses, something I’m not sure I would have done if it wasn’t for Sarah’s passion & determination to do so since I’ve known her. We honestly had too much fun growing up together, but my favorite part of our story thus far has been our adult lives. We both became travel nurses at the same time, going to different places. I met Sarah out on her Seattle contract, when she first started dating Riley & I could tell by the way she talked about him, he was the one!! We’re now both currently on the North Shore in Massachusetts, living 10 minutes from each other again & it’s been so special to share this magical time in our lives together. <3

I've known Riley since he was wearing short pants. He’s been my fav cousin, along with his little brother Casey (and Zack and Nic of course). From gaming Driver 2 on the Playstation 1 in our diapers to watching and rewatching violent Tarantino Movies behind our Mother's backs, to becoming Connnoisseurs of Pabts Blue Ribbon, we'll always remain thick as thieves

Sarah and I met at JMU within our sorority freshman year. From the moment we met, I knew we were going to be best friends, and that’s exactly what we became. We moved in together with other sorority sisters junior year and were inseparable. We raised our puppy Luna together, and that’s what sparked Sarah’s love for pit bulls— she later rescued Bruno (the bestest boy). No matter the distance or the time between us, we can always pick right back up without skipping a beat. I am so excited to see Sarah move into this next chapter of life with a man truly deserving of her fierce and compassionate heart.

Riley and I are cousins. We bond over whiskey, music, movies, and grandma's sauce. We never miss an opportunity to get the family together to throw a legendary party. From sleepovers when we were little to buying a house and living together, Riley and I will always be the perfect example of what cousins are all about.

I first met Sarah at Georgetown Hospital and thought, wow… she’s prickly. But somehow that prickly exterior wore off, and before I knew it, she became my work wife, my cross-country partner, and the one person that can make a 12hr shift bearable. Together we’ve tackled everything from crabs to immersing ourselves in Tibetan culture. With that being said, Sarah has been there with me through many new life experiences. Now, instead of sharing rent at Extend Stay America, I get to share in celebrating her biggest adventure yet: marrying Riley!

From the moment Riley and I bonded over fishing, the rest was history. Fifteen years later, we’ve had enough adventures to fill a book—from “hunting Bigfoot” to “annoying every neighbor within a mile.” Surviving the dreadful days at Salem State and living in a haunted apartment only added to the long list of questionable life choices and unforgettable memories. Riley may have traded in his class clown card for a badge, but he’s still the same friend who’ll have you laughing at the worst possible moment.

Sarah and I have been friends since high school. We’ve shared so many adventures together, from driving across the country, trips abroad, and living together for a summer. She’s one of the most loyal, hilarious, and loving people I know. I’m so lucky to call her my friend.

I met Riley in middle school, where the dares and the double dares, the one liners, the storytelling, and the classic slapstick moments made him the person who could make me laugh the most. Sixteen years later, I am happy to report that his sense of humor and ability to be bold and care for his friends has aged like fine wine, or Kentucky bourbon. After college, we lived together in Beverly for five years; we battled frigid winters, mice infestations, bad actors, and scheming landlords. Through it all we thrived, and more importantly, we laughed—especially about his time at the Mass State Police Academy (ask him about it).

I met Sarah at our very first nursing job in DC, where we bonded over blood, sweat, tears (ours and our patients’), among other bodily fluids. The resulting friendship led to countless memories and hours of laughter and conversation. Whether it’s staying in and making chocolate peppermint kiss cookies (the best Christmas cookies ever), an afternoon on the beach, a night out fueled by cosmos and “the filthiest” martinis, or a Mass to Maryland FaceTime sesh, I know we are in for a good time together. I am so excited to add getting Sarah and Riley married to that list of memories!

I have been friends with Riley for so long it’s almost hard to remember how it started, but two things stick out. A one man chopper bicycle gang on honeysuckle rd and the brilliant idea of creating, and firing flaming arrows. Somehow he’s a cop now? Riley has always put up with me, and no matter how much has changed in our lives, our friendship lives on!

Flower Girl

The sassiest and coolest two year old you will ever meet. She has her mother’s looks and her father’s volume. Watch out for the goose on the loose on wedding day, she may throw some petals or she may throw a fit, either way you are in for a treat.
