In late April, temperatures in Ravello generally stay in the mid to high 60s during the day. In the evening, it can be chilly- often in the 50s- especially with the venue being on the water so bringing light layers is a great idea to ensure you’re comfortable throughout the event.
We kindly ask that our guests dress in cocktail attire- a suit for the men and either a cocktail dress, midi dress, or dressy jumpsuit for women. We’d love for everyone to feel polished and festive while still comfortable enough to dance the night away. Please note- the wedding party will be wearing shades of sage green, so if possible, we’d love for our guests to avoid that color to help them stand out on the big day!
Although we love your little ones, to allow all guests to relax and enjoy themselves, we have chosen to make our wedding an adults-only occasion.
Ravello is approximately 1 hour from the Naples Airport and Naples Train Station. There are a few options: 1) the SITA bus is a very cheap way to get to Ravello (few euros per person) 2) you can take a private car from Naples to Ravello, about 150 euros each way 3) our planner and I can help arrange transportation for groups -- they have vans that seat up to 12 people (please contact me if you're interested in this) 4) you can actually get from Naples to Amalfi by boat and hop in a taxi for the 10 minute drive from Amalfi to Ravello. We have never personally travelled this way, but we're sure it could be a scenic way to get to Ravello!
It's important to note that taxis and other means of transportation via rental car, shuttle, limo, etc, can only take you so far into Ravello since the town is mainly a walking area. So keep this in mind when booking your accommodations, you will most likely be walking partially uphill on cobblestone streets to reach our venue, Villa Eva. If you have any questions in regards to this please contact us!
