Josh and Jake met over 10 years ago on the basketball courts of UQ, and they’ve been inseparable ever since. From friendly games to life’s biggest moments, Josh has always been in Jake’s corner. Jake had the honour of being best man at Josh’s wedding, and now Josh is returning the favour. He’s more than a best friend, he’s a source of strength, wisdom, and unwavering support. Fiercely loyal, Josh is someone who will always have Jake’s back, no matter what. Jake is incredibly lucky to have him by his side for the big day.
Sophia Le
Maid of Honour
Sophia is Sarah’s older sister and is pretty much who she goes to for any question, vent, yap about anything under the sun. She’s usually the first person Sarah texts when she wakes up and is guaranteed to be inundated with capslock essays about all sorts by the end of the day. Sophia is super chill, cool, calm, and collected and will know what's happening at all times, especially on a big day like this. Sarah is SO LUCKY to have her by her side everyday in life and on such an important day!!!
Grant Wells
Groomsman
Grant and Jake met over 10 years ago on a Contiki tour through Europe, and what began as a travel friendship quickly grew into a lasting bond. Grant is known for his kindness, compassion, loyalty, and calm presence; always someone Jake can count on in good times and bad. Some of Jake’s fondest memories include spending time with Grant and his dog, Jacey, in Geelong and attending footy games all around the country to cheer on the mighty Brissy Lions (and sometimes the Saints as well). Jake is honoured to have Grant stand beside him.
Linh Le
Bridesmaid
Linh has been one of Sarah's closest, lifelong girlfriends of circa 15+ years! From going to school together, they bonded over their obsession for baking, bloggers (Cupcakes & Cashmere if anyone recalls?) and obsessing over Gossip Girl where they quickly discovered Linh is essentially Blair's reincarnation. Linh was the friend who got Sarah on board for a spontaneous Thailand trip when they were 18 and happened to be during peak monsoon season. Years later even after Linh moved to Sydney, their friendship has never wavered and each trip to see each other no matter where it is, is always filled with LAUGHS, catan, good food and boujie times. She’s one of the most loyal and deeply thoughtful people Sarah knows, and having her support Sarah on this day is a given!
Hugh Congleton
Groomsman
Jake met Hugh at work (working in "admin") four years ago, and a shared love of basketball and fighting crime quickly sparked a strong friendship both in and out of the office. Some of Jake’s favourite memories with Hughey include their legendary “Roofies” sessions, which involved sneaking in basketball games on the rooftop of their office building during work hours. Beyond the fun, Hugh is someone Jake deeply admires for his thoughtfulness, quiet confidence, emotional intelligence, and sharp sense of style. He’s the kind of friend who just gets it, and Jake is very grateful to have him as part of the day.
Aivan Tran

Aivan is one of Sarah's lifelong, closest friends of 15+ years as well, and has been one of THE most hilarious, fun, emotionally intelligent girlfriends who has been there for all the phases of life. From being chaotic and crazy in art class in school, joining uni "study" sessions and procrastinating through it, through the journey in finding love, Aivan has seen ALL the ugly cries of life. As another ambitious queen even after moving to Canberra, her humour, love and friendship honestly knows no bounds and always makes everything feel lighter. Another no brainer to be there to get Sarah hitched!
Callum Soden
Groomsman
Callum is one of Jake’s oldest and dearest friends. They met at school and have shared life’s journey since the age of 12. Bonded by their love of AFL, the two have made countless memories together over the years. They travelled to China on a school language trip, studied Mandarin side by side, and played tennis together for five years (even teaming up as doubles partners). Callum is hilarious, incredibly creative, and never fails to brings out the best in Jake. He’s not only a constant source of laughter but also of support, and Jake is incredibly proud to have him standing with him.
Gina Le

Gina is, funny this, another one of Sarah's lifelong best girlfriends who has been in her life for over 15 years too. In that time she’s been one of the most steady, wholehearted friends and has an incredibly calming presence, chill in the best way, but always deeply tuned in. Whether she’s sharing her latest hobby obsession (funghi), sharing new sourdough bakes, the newest dishes whipped up in the amazing Gina kitchen or just showing up when needed, her intensions are always grounding and meaningful. Their friendship is built on many wholesome hangouts and moments over the years especially in their joint time both living in Melbourne. Sarah is lucky to have her on this big day!!
