Please let us know if you’ll be joining us by 1 September 2025 (if not sooner!). We’d be grateful for early responses to help with planning and accommodation coordination.
The ceremony will begin promptly at 3:30pm, so we kindly ask all guests to be ready and arrive at the neighbouring church by 3pm to allow time to settle in before we get started. We can’t wait to see your smiling faces there as we tie the knot!
The dress code is Formal. For the ladies, that would be longer dresses and for the guys, get your suit & tie on! Note that the weather will be cooler than it is in especially Brisbane. Throughout the wedding we will be both indoors and outdoors (weather permitting), so make sure you have something with you as the evening cools down.
We’re so grateful to be surrounded by such wonderful friends and family, and we’ve worked hard to create an intimate and meaningful celebration for us. With this in mind, we’ve chosen to keep our guest list small and are only able to invite those named on the invitation. We hope you understand, and we can’t wait to celebrate with you!
We’re so looking forward to celebrating with our closest friends and family and that includes a few of our new little humans! While we’re keeping the wedding intimate, children are welcome. Cots are available at the property. If you have any questions or need anything to make your stay more comfortable, please don’t hesitate to reach out so we can help accommodate you.

We kindly request that you arrive between 1pm - 4pm on Monday, 27 April 2026 so that we can show you to your room and get you settled in before dinner.
We will cover all meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner) for the duration of your stay. If you are a particular snacker, love a certain tea, coffee, etc please let us know so we can try and accommodate for this. If you have dietary requirements or allergies, please let us know when you RSVP.
Yes, there is wifi throughout the estate.
Hairdryers: there should be hairdryers in your bathroom. Iron: the venue only has 2x irons and 1x steamer. We will set up the irons in a designated room for communal use (you will be advised of which room upon checkin). We recommend on Day 1, you find time to iron/steam your clothing before the wedding festivities on Day 2. On Day 2 (Tuesday), we may need to steal the iron and steamer for the bride/grooms party in the morning!
There are stairs throughout the estate. If you need help up and down stairs or prefer to have less walking, please let us know so we can try and arrange your room to be close to a smaller staircase and/or the lift.
Yes, the village store is a short 3 minute stroll down the driveway. Very handy to pick up little bits and bobs that you might have forgotten as well as a snack or two (including the local Montgomery cheese which is made using the the milk of the cows that you may see on the property!).

We would recommend flying into London Heathrow Airport as the Heathrow Express train goes directly between London Heathrow Airport and London Paddington (you would then depart London Paddington if getting the train to the venue).
For the train: We would recommend booking your ticket 1-3 months in advance. The GWR (Greater Western Rail) also allows for seat reservations if you want but this isn't necessary as it is generally easy to find a seat on the train. Getting the bus from Castle Cary Station to North Cadbury Court: You do not need to book a ticket in advance. You can touch onto the bus with your debit/credit/travel card. You do not need to touch off. Taxi: If you have caught the train over then prefer to catch a taxi from the Castle Cary Station to North Cadbury Court, we suggest you pre-book a taxi. It's only a 9 minute taxi ride to the estate. The cost will be approximately £30 pound ($60 AUD). Please reach out to let us know if you are catching public transport to the venue. We may be able to pick you up from Castle Cary Station and save you the taxi cost, pending our schedule and the availability of cars.
For 3 nights and 4 days, we have plenty of activities. Some key things to not forget are your wedding outfit and shoes, comfortable clothing for lounging around, sportswear if you're keen to participate in tennis/activities, and swimwear if you want to pop into the heated pool or jacuzzi. The temperature towards the end of April in North Cadbury varies between 7 - 17 degrees so definitely make sure to pack a little warmer. Please pack for 4 seasons in a day, it will likely be lightly drizzly, a bit cool, but warm pockets of sunshine coming through over the course of our stay.
