City Hall Ceremony (Immediate Fam only + Witnesses)

Our immediate family members + our notified witnesses are invited to join us for a short ceremony crammed into a tiny room at Chicago's City Hall. We confirmed our appointment for Saturday, May 24th. Dale/I will be expected to line up at City Hall between 9:30am - 10:30am and wait our turn for the 10 minute ceremony. Not to worry! We have a suite reserved at the Hotel Allegro just up Randolph (two blocks), we plan to have folks meet us there around 9:30am and whoever wants to pop to City Hall with us can. The hotel room will have donuts/refreshments for your breakfast needs. A Chicago-style trolley will be picking us up from the hotel at 11:45a/noon to take us on a scenic drive up Lake Shore Drive to North Ravenswood to host lunch at Spacca Napoli from 12:30p - 2:30p. Expect pizza, burrata, salads, wine. Champagne toasts on the trolley as we scream out the windows. We'll wrap lunch with plenty of time to head to the park to hang with anyone else in town!
Park Hangs

After we spend the morning/lunch with our immediate family, we're planning to kick it in our own little favorite slice of heaven - Winnemac Park. Very weather depending, we plan to use my dad's pickleball set/our badminton set, sprawl on big blankets, hide booze in various non-descript cups (BYOC if you can!), and just generally spend some time with whoever is in town. We have a permit (she follows rules) and are looking into getting Superdawg hot dogs delivered. Pop over if you're in town and want to hang. Please RSVP if you're considering it/seeing this. Trying to get a loose headcount for hotdogs + food. No clue if we'll be done by 6:30p either, these are loose timeframes (although at some point Dale/I will collapse). UPDATE: I got giant Yahtzee. Can't conceptualize what that means? You'll just have to join us to find out.

Celebration at The Davis Theater

Keep it casual: it's a movie, be comfy - jeans are cool with us.
We are planning a cocktail hour with concession snacks + fruit/cheese/CARBS at The Davis from 2p - 3p before the movie. At around 3ish we'll head into Theater 1 and roll tape. After the film ends, we are within walking distance to a divey bar that's hosting us: The Lincoln Square Tap Room. What movie are we showing? Jurassic Park is happening. With curated previews.
Food, Booze, TouchTunes and Darts

We'll be hosting booze, darts, and hand held foods items post-movie down the street at Lincoln Square Tap Room. They've let us rent out the place to ourselves and we're serving Tres Leches cake in cups. Parson's chicken (along with mac n' cheese + veggie sandwiches for my vegetarians) will be delivered around 6:30p. Join us on this delightful journey and continue mingling, celebrating, and eating in our neighborhood.
