Dublin Airport is the main airport to fly into for guests travelling from abroad, and offers the most routes at the most reasonable prices. Hopefully you'll get a good deal with Ryanair! Whilst Donegal does have an airport, it most likely won't be the best option!
Travel Note
A public bus runs every 90min (route30 or X30) conveniently from Dublin Airport and Dublin Bus Terminal to ‘The Diamond’ in Donegal Town (Abbey Hotel). We recommend booking online a few days in advance.
Travel Note
There are a few local buses around Donegal (#292, 293, 264, 994) which all stop at ‘The Diamond’ (Abbey Hotel) in Donegal Town. These may be useful for getting around depending on where your accommodation is.
