Friday Morning Hike

Wear comfortable, wind and/or rain proof clothes + good hiking shoes
A bus will gather everyone in Donegal Town to travel approx. one hour to Sliabh Liag - the highest sea cliffs in Europe! There will be two hiking options: - Easy: 4.5km family-friendly stroll (90 min return) along a hilly, paved road to the viewpoint - Advanced: 10km hike (3hrs) along the cliffs on technical & potentially muddy terrain For those who don't wish to hike, there is a cozy pub to warm up in. We will regroup to board the bus back to Donegal.
Friday Evening BBQ

Casual Attire: anything goes, from sundresses & sandals to jeans & polos. Maybe bring a jumper as it may get chilly in the evening!
A shuttle bus will run from Donegal Town to/from the venue (it is very remote). In Canadian potluck fashion, we will provide some grill food, salad, and drinks. We welcome any food and drink contributions that would be convenient to pick up in Lidl or Aldi in Donegal Town.

The ceremony will hopefully take place outside (weather dependent). We are in the process of planning the details and might request some of your assistance to tie the knot!
Saturday Evening Reception (adults only)

We're excited to celebrate with you! Due to space constraints (and because everyone deserves a night off!) this event will be adults only. The reception will begin with some bubbly, canapes, and games (outdoors hopefully), followed by a sit-down dinner, speeches, and dancing into the wee hours/spät! We encourage everyone to take the shuttle bus, running between Donegal Town and Lough Mardal with one pick-up time in the afternoon, and a few return journeys throughout the evening/night. Taxi services are available if you wish to depart at your convenience. No Irish goodbyes allowed!
