Whispering Oaks Ranch - Cabins

We are excited to offer a few of our guests lodging in shared cabins on-site (this will be evident when you RSVP). For everyone else, please see the rest of our "Travel & Lodging" page for all the other wonderful nearby accommodations. We are incredibly lucky to have so many close friends and family, and we wish all of you could stay onsite with us! For those of you who wish to stay as close as possible to the venue, consider dispersed camping on the forest service land surrounding Whispering Oaks Ranch!

Whispering Oaks Ranch - RVs and Camping

Some on-site camping is available, or you could rent an RV in Moab and park it on site (although we aren't sure if there are hook-ups). Whispering oaks charges $30 / person to camp or stay in an RV on site. If you're interested in this option, let us know so we can keep a head count and make sure there will be space for all the tents!

Hotel

Your Public Land - dispersed camping

Whispering Oaks Ranch is situated in the middle of Forest Service land at the base of the La Sal mountains just outside of Moab. This is some of the best dispersed camping around! If you like to commune with the desert from a tent (Tucker & Sara style!) and you'd rather not pay to camp on-site, come get as close as possible to the venue by setting up a tent just outside the ranch! You could certainly find a spot to park an RV nearby as well, if that's more your style. If enough folks are planning on doing this, we can set up a table and shade structure to claim a nice site nearby; let us know! There are also some USFS campgrounds nearby. Price varies, but they are fairly cheap (<$30 / site / day). The closest campgrounds on the mountain are Oowah, Warner, and Masons Draw, and there is a BLM campground in Spanish Valley called Ken's Lake. These are all dry camps, so BYOWater. Some sites are reservable, some are first-come, first-serve.

There are some fantastic lodging options in Spanish Valley, which is the closest town to Whispering Oaks Ranch. Try searching "Spanish Valley" or "Moab" on airbnb.com or vrbo.com! Moab is about 40 minutes from Whispering Oaks Ranch, and has all the lodging options one could dream of: Air BnB's, hotels, cabins, glamping, etc. In addition to all the AirBnB / VRBO options in the area, there are tons of hotels in Moab. There is quite a range of price and amenities, though we don't know what to recommend because we never sleep indoors when we're in the area!
