We first met at Lebanese community gatherings in the San Francisco Bay Area, two familiar faces crossing paths, unaware that the threads of our story were already being woven. Not long after, we found ourselves standing side by side at Palestine protests and community events. Among the chants and the crowds, beneath the same hopeful sky, the distance between our hearts began to close. Our conversations grew deeper, our laughter lingered longer, and time felt different when we were together. What started as shared values became something far greater than we expected, a connection that grew with steadiness and intention. We were not only united by passion for justice, but by the peace we found in one another’s presence, the calm that comes when two souls recognize each other. Through every challenge, we chose each other with unwavering hearts. We held on to a love that learned to stand taller when the winds grew stronger. And today, surrounded by our family and friends, we celebrate the journey that began as a simple crossing of paths and became destiny. Side by side, we begin our next chapter as husband and wife. كيف بدأت قصتنا التقينا لأول مرة في لقاءات الجالية اللبنانية في سان فرانسيسكو، كوجهين مألوفين يتقاطعان في المكان نفسه، دون أن ندرك أن خيوط قصتنا كانت تُنسَج بهدوء وبعد وقت قصير، جمعَتنا الساحات من جديد، واقفين جنباً إلى جنب في المظاهرات والفعاليات الداعمة لفلسطين. بين الهتافات والحشود، وتحت سماء واحدة تحمل الدعاء والأمل، بدأت المسافات تضيق بين القلبين. تعمّقت أحاديثنا، طال ضحكنا، وصار للوقت معاً طعماً مختلف ما بدأ كقيم مشتركة صار رابطاً أعمق مما توقعنا، شعوراً يكبر بهدوء وثبات. لم يجمعنا الشغف بالقضية فحسب، بل جمعتنا الطمأنينة في حضور بعضنا، والسكون الذي نجده حين تلتقي الأرواح .ومع كل تحدٍ واجهناه، اخترنا بعضنا بقلبٍ ثابت، وتمسّكنا بحبٍ نما بالصبر والإيمان، حبٍ تعلّم أن يقوى كلما اشتدت الرياح واليوم، وبين أهلنا وأحبتنا، نقف معاً لنحتفل بالرحلة التي بدأت صدفة، وأصبحت قدراً، ونبدأ فصلاً جديداً جنباً إلى جنب، زوجاً وزوجة
