Maid of Honor
Gabby is more than my cousin she is my sister, my confidante, and one of the most important people in my life. She has been by my side through every phase, adventure, challenge, and unforgettable moment. She knows me better than almost anyone, accepts me as I am, and has always made me feel loved, understood, and never alone. Gabby is wonderfully crazy, fiercely loyal, endlessly loving, and brings warmth and joy into the lives of everyone around her. I truly cannot imagine my life without her. Her big heart shines in the way she loves her family and friends, as well as in her work as a preschool teacher. She brings patience, creativity, joy, and kindness into everything she does, making people feel cared for, supported, and special. Gabby has a natural ability to make people feel safe and loved, which I admire most about her. Having Gabby as my maid of honor means more to me than I could express. I cannot imagine celebrating this chapter without my sister by my side. I am grateful for every memory we have shared and for all the ways she has shown up for me. I know she will make this wedding and every moment leading up to it even more joyful and memorable. As an extra special bonus, she will soon become Trevor’s Greek Orthodox godmother. Jesse is more than my best man, he is one of my closest friends and someone I am incredibly grateful to have in my life. He was one of the first friend I made in college, and from the very beginning, our friendship felt easy and natural. Over the years, Jesse has brought laughter, comfort, and countless unforgettable memories into my life. He is one of the funniest people I know and has a gift for making everyone around him feel at ease. Jesse is also one of the most loyal and supportive people I know. He shows up for the people he loves without hesitation and has always been someone I can count on. Whether I needed someone to make me laugh, listen without judgment, or stand beside me through a difficult moment, Jesse has always been there. He is also an incredibly talented actor, with a gift for bringing honesty, humor, and heart to everything he does. I truly feel he is one of the best actors I have had the privilege of performing with. I admire the passion and authenticity he brings to both his work and his friendships. Having Jesse as my best man means so much to me. I cannot imagine celebrating this chapter without the friend who has been beside me since the beginning of my college journey. Ellie became my best friend later in life, which makes our friendship feel all the more special. She is one of those people who is almost impossible to put into words because of how much she has meant to me and how much she has done for me. We met at an open call, and somehow end up at bottomless espresso martinis, we found each other at two of the lowest points in our lives. From there, we built each other back up, showing up for one another with love, loyalty, humor, and unwavering support. We have been inseparable ever since. Ellie is an outstanding musical theatre performer with a truly sickening belt, but her talents extend far beyond the stage. She is fierce, funny, beautiful, and extremely loyal. She can absolutely destroy someone with her words, but beneath that sharp wit is one of the most loving, generous, and dependable people I know. Ellie was Trevor’s and my roommate, which makes her especially meaningful to both of us. She has been there for so many chapters of our lives the exciting, the difficult, and all the ordinary days in between. She has become family in every sense of the word. Ellie, you are truly one of the most special people in my life. You have loved me through every version of myself, helped me become a better person, and made some of the hardest moments feel survivable just by being there. You are my ride-or-die, and I feel incredibly lucky not only to have you by my side on this special day, but to have you by my side for the rest of our lives.

Cam is one of those people who makes you feel like you’ve known him far longer than you actually have. Even though we haven’t known each other very long, his warmth, energy, and openness made him feel instantly like a brother. He is always inviting, always ready to have a good time, and completely unapologetic about being himself. He is also always willing to go along with whatever ridiculous idea I come up with, which has made for some truly memorable moments. Cam is an incredibly talented singer and actor, but what makes him especially wonderful to work with is how generous he is as a scene partner. He gives so much of himself to the people around him and makes everyone feel supported, seen, and free to take risks. That generosity extends far beyond the stage, too. He is a loyal and caring friend who means so much to both Samantha and me. Cam, I am so grateful to have you standing beside us as one of my groomsmen. Thank you for bringing your humor, heart, and wonderfully authentic self into our lives. Caroline and I have known each other since childhood. We actually started out hating each other, which makes it even funnier that we eventually became best friends in high school. We have always been very different people. I was the more girly high maintenance one, while Caroline was much more alternative and grounded but somehow, those differences have always made our friendship stronger. Caroline is funny, loyal, sweet, and wonderfully quirky. She is truly a light in every group she enters, and I honestly don’t know anyone who doesn’t love her. She has a way of winning people over with her warmth and kindness, making everyone feel comfortable and welcome. She is the kind of friend who shows up, stands by the people she loves, and brings joy wherever she goes. Caroline is also incredibly talented. She works as a coffee roaster and is the lead singer of the rock band Lolabele, two things that perfectly reflect her creativity, passion, and individuality. She succeeds at everything she puts her mind to because she has one of the strongest work ethics I know. I am so proud of everything she has accomplished and everything she continues to pursue. Caroline has been such an important part of my life for so many years, and I feel incredibly lucky that the girl I once couldn’t stand became one of my very best friends. I love her dearly, and I cannot imagine celebrating this day without her by my side.

Madison is Samantha’s older brother and one of my groomsmen, but from the very beginning, he made me feel like part of the family. He was incredibly welcoming and always included me in family activities, making it easy to feel at home around the people he loves. His warmth and generosity have meant more to me than he probably realizes. I’m so grateful for the way he opened his life and family to me. Madison is also one of the smartest people I know. As an Account Director at Inizio, he is driven, accomplished, and incredibly capable. He brings that same energy and curiosity to everything he does. He is outgoing, adventurous, and always up for a challenge. Whether he’s swimming across a lake, climbing a mountain, or sailing somewhere new, Madison is constantly turning life into an adventure. He inspires everyone around him to be a little braver, try something new, and make the most of every opportunity. He approaches life with an enthusiasm that is completely contagious. No matter where he is or what he’s doing, he makes every experience more fun. He is charming, hilarious, and truly a light to be around. He has a way of bringing energy into every room and is almost always the life of the party. Madison, we are so lucky to have you standing beside us. Kassi is Trevor’s sister, and from the very beginning, she made me feel completely welcomed and loved. She has always treated me like family, and I am so grateful for the warmth and kindness she showed me from the moment we met. She is caring, thoughtful, and the kind of person who makes everyone around her feel supported and valued. As a pediatric nurse at Children’s Hospital in New Orleans, Kassi works overnight shifts, which can be incredibly demanding, yet you would never know it from her. She continues to show up with so much kindness, patience, and compassion, always going out of her way to help others. She is kind, funny, creative, athletic, and has so many other wonderful qualities and talents that make her truly one of a kind. She brings the same warmth and compassion to every part of her life, making every person lucky enough to be around her feel cared for and understood. I admire the strength, grace, and generosity she carries with her. Kassi is beautiful inside and out and the very definition of selfless. She gives so much of herself to the people around her without ever asking for anything in return. I feel incredibly lucky to have her not only as my sister-in-law, but also as my friend and bridesmaid. Jake and I first became friends through video games, introduced by a mutual friend. By the time we met in person at his wedding, we had already known each other for eight years, so it felt like we were simply putting a face to a friendship that had long been there. Since then, I’ve come to appreciate just how passionate, devoted, and genuine he is. Jake gives his whole heart to everything he does. As a helicopter firefighter, he is dedicated to his craft and to serving his community, but that same commitment shows up in every part of his life whether its his hobbies, his craft, or his lovely wife Megan. He is always helping someone out; friends, family members, or strangers in need. He has a particular kindness for elderly people and is always willing to lend a hand. Jake is the definition of selfless, and his compassion and generosity make a real difference to everyone around him. Jake is also one of the funniest people I know. Often because he can be wonderfully, spectacularly dumb in the most endearing way. His humor and openness make him incredibly easy to love, while his compassion and loyalty make him someone people can always count on. Mel is Peyton’s wife and Trevor’s sister-in-law, and I’m so excited that she is becoming such an important part of our family. While I’m still getting to know Mel and all the wonderful things that make her who she is, I’ve already come to appreciate how thoughtful, kind, intelligent, and caring she is. I especially admire the passion and dedication she brings to her work as a Greenhouse Seed Operation Assistant at the AgriAquaculture Center of Excellence. It feels very fitting that someone as curious, patient, and compassionate as Mel would work with plants and seeds and be part of an environment focused on growth, learning, and the natural world. One of the things I’m most excited about is getting to know Mel better as we become family. Having her alongside me as a bridesmaid is such a fun opportunity to share this special season together, make memories, and build our own relationship beyond simply being sisters-in-law. I feel so lucky that this wedding is giving us the chance to create memories together and start building the kind of sisterly relationship I hope we’ll have for years to come. Peyton is my brother and one of my groomsmen, but he has also been someone I’ve looked up to my entire life. He has always had a passion for the things he loves, and what I admire most is the dedication and devotion he brings to them. Whether he’s working at the Insectarium or pursuing one of his many interests, Peyton gives everything he does his full attention and heart. He has a genuine curiosity about the world, and his enthusiasm is impossible not to admire. Peyton is compassionate, thoughtful, and incredibly smart. He has a way of caring deeply about the people and things around him, and he approaches life with both patience and purpose. His interests may be unique, but that is part of what makes him so special, he has always been unapologetically himself. He inspires the people around him to follow their passions, stay curious, and appreciate the things that make each of us different. Nicole and I became best friends in college, along with Steven and Abbie, and some of my favorite memories are the ones we made together during that time. Nicole has always been such a steady and grounding presence in our friend group. No matter what life has brought our way, she has always been someone I could count on to be there with patience, perspective, and an open heart. She is patient, level-headed, kind, and thoughtful. The person who can bring calm to any situation and make everyone feel a little more understood. As a music therapist, Nicole brings so much compassion and creativity to the work she does. She is deeply altruistic and passionate, always using her talents to care for and uplift the people around her. She is also incredibly funny, gorgeous, and gifted in so many ways. There is truly nothing she cannot do, and she brings so much light wherever she goes. Nicole was once our resident sorority girl, although you probably would not guess that now—and I love that there are so many different sides to her. Beneath her calm and composed exterior is someone vibrant, hilarious, and full of heart. I feel so lucky that college brought us together and that our friendship has continued to grow over the years. Asher was one of the very first friends I made in college, and I’m so grateful that our friendship has grown into one that I know I’ll carry with me for years to come. He is one of those people who has a way of making everyone feel like they’ve been friends with him forever. He’s fun, charming, incredibly hardworking, and always knows how to lift the people around him up. Somehow, Asher manages to be everyone’s best friend. As a musical theatre performer and a true triple threat, Asher brings so much passion, talent, and dedication to everything he does. He is a natural leader who puts his whole heart into his work and inspires the people around him to do the same. Whether he’s performing on stage, working toward a goal, or simply being there for a friend, he gives everything he has. One of my favorite things about Asher is the way he makes the people around him believe in themselves. He has a rare ability to bring people together, make everyone feel included. Asher, I’m so lucky that college brought us together and even luckier that I get to have you standing beside me on one of the biggest days of my life. Abbie and I became friends in college, along with Nicole and Steven, and I feel so lucky that those years brought her into my life. Abbie is unapologetically herself, and that is one of the many things I love most about her. She is hilarious, strong, passionate, and completely authentic. She is a person who brings energy, honesty, and heart into every room she enters. She has a way of making people feel comfortable, understood, and completely free to be themselves, and I admire that about her so much. As a drama therapist who works particularly with queer youth, Abbie uses her creativity and compassion to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others. Her dedication to helping people feel seen, supported, and empowered is truly inspiring, and it reflects the kindness and courage she brings to every part of her life. If you are friends with Abbie you know you are always going to be taken care of. The generosity she puts in her work is shown 10 fold in her friendships. I love Abbie endlessly, and I feel so lucky to have her as a bridesmaid and as a friend. Her presence in my life is a gift, and I cannot imagine celebrating this special day without her by my side. Steven is one of Samantha’s very best friends and, although I’m technically stealing him as a groomsman for symmetry, I’m so grateful he’s willing to stand beside us. He and Samantha met in college after blowing an audition together, and that shared failure somehow became the beginning of an inseparable friendship. They were never seen without each other and were known as a package deal. They were roommates for much of college and supported each other through countless milestones, creating the kind of memories and bond that last a lifetime. Steven is unbelievably funny and can make absolutely anyone laugh, but his talents extend far beyond his sense of humor. He is endlessly multifaceted, curious, and always willing to pursue something new. In college, he planned to become an opera singer; today, he is the head of HR at Home Depot and is exploring coding. His ability to grow, adapt, and take on new challenges is just one of the many things we admire about him. Most importantly, Steven is the kind of friend who would do anything for the people he loves. He is loyal, generous, and always there when Samantha, or any of us, needs him. Steven, we know you are really Samantha’s person, but I am so happy to borrow you for the day. Allie is so much more than our officiant. She is one of our very best friends and one of the most important people in both of our lives. Trevor, Allie, and I met at the same time in 2019, and from the very beginning, it felt as though we were meant to find one another. Since then, Allie has become a constant source of love, laughter, and support for both of us. Allie is loyal, kind, funny, and deeply compassionate. She has an extraordinary calming presence that makes people feel safe and understood, and she seems to attract people wherever she goes. She is also one of the most talented singers and actors we have ever had the privilege of working with, as well as an incredible songwriter. Allie can have us screaming with laughter one moment and bringing us to tears the next. Her talent is immense, but it is her generous heart and the way she makes everyone around her feel seen that make her truly extraordinary. Allie is one of the most special people in the world, and we love her beyond measure. She has been such a meaningful part of our relationship and is one of the biggest reasons we are standing up here together today. We cannot imagine anyone more perfect to guide us through this ceremony and celebrate this moment with us. Usher
Finlay has been part of our lives since he was about seven, when we first began working with him in theatre. Over the years, we have had the joy of watching him grow from a bright, curious kid into a kind, funny, and genuinely wonderful young man. He is also an amazing big brother to Lachlan and Vivi. He is caring, patient, and always looking out for them. He brings warmth and humor wherever he goes, and we are so proud of the person he is becoming. By the time of our wedding, Finlay will be fourteen and just beginning high school, a very exciting new chapter. He is also becoming a wonderful actor in his own right. Watching him grow both onstage and off has been incredibly special. He has become such a kind leader and we cannot wait to see all that he continues to accomplish. We are so happy to have Finlay as our usher. It means so much to include someone who has been part of our lives for so many years in such an important day. Finlay, we love you, we are so proud of you, and we feel incredibly lucky to have you with us as we celebrate our wedding.
Flower Girl
Vivi may only be seven, but she already brings so much personality, joy, and sparkle wherever she goes. As Tim and Laura Moore’s daughter, she is part of a family that has truly become our second family. We feel incredibly lucky to have them in our lives, and Vivi holds such a special place in our hearts. She is hilarious, confident, and a true glamour girl who knows how to make an entrance. We love our special princess time together, whether we are dressing up, playing pretend, or simply enjoying each other’s company. Vivi is also a little monkey, always climbing something, finding a new adventure, and occasionally getting herself into a bit of trouble. Beneath all that energy and mischief is one of the sweetest, most loving girls we know. We are so excited to have Vivi as our flower girl. She will make our wedding day even more magical, and we cannot wait to watch her walk down the aisle and see her shine. Vivi, we love you so much, and we are so lucky to have you and your wonderful parents as part of our lives and this special day.
Ring Bearer
Lachlan is an adventurous, kind, and loving boy who brings a calm, thoughtful presence wherever he goes. As Tim and Laura Moore’s son, he is part of a family that has become our second family, and we feel so lucky to have him in our lives. Lachlan is always ready to lend a hand, and his gentle, caring nature makes him someone truly special to us. By the time of our wedding, Lachlan will be celebrating a very exciting milestone: double digits! He loves sports and video games, which gives him plenty in common with Trevor. Whether he is playing, exploring, or helping someone out, Lachlan approaches everything with curiosity, generosity, and a big heart. We are so excited to have Lachlan as our ring bearer. He will bring so much heart and meaning to our ceremony, and we cannot wait to watch him walk down the aisle carrying our rings.
