Are Phones Allowed at the ceremony?

Answer

No, Phones are not allowed at the ceremony or the reception. Samantha did not have a cell phone until she was 18, and she misses the unplugged lifestyle, when events weren’t about posting to social media but about being fully present in the moment. We have kept our relationship off social media for a reason. We invite you to put your phones away and be fully present with us throughout the day. Upon arrival, phones will be collected and safely stored in a secure location until the celebration ends. Our wedding coordinator will have a phone available for emergencies, so you can rest assured that loved ones can reach you if necessary. Otherwise, we hope you’ll enjoy the day free from screens, notifications, and distractions, celebrating, connecting, dancing, and making memories with us in real time. Thank you for helping us make this a meaningful, unplugged celebration.

What is the Dress Code?

Answer

The Dress Code is Colorful Black Tie! Please wear a Tuxedo in any color or a floor length evening gown (Not White). If you are a heels wearer we recommend a wedge or a chunky heel as the event is outdoors.

I Don't have a Tuxedo or an Evening Gown what do I wear?

Answer

The dress code is very important to Trevor. If this feels unachievable to you, please reach out! You are more important to us than your clothes so lets see what we can make work.

Is everything in the same location?

Answer

Yes! Ceremony, cocktail hour, and the reception are all at the same place.

Is there Parking?

Answer

There is very minimal parking. We ask that you park nearby if your hotel is nearby to please leave your car there, or try to park on the street nearby if this is not an option. We need to save parking for vendors and our handicap guests. There is a lot by the balance rock inn as well that is on the shore path and is an easy walk to the venue.

Will there be a shuttle to transport from the hotel to the venue?

Answer

Unfortunately no. Because none of the hotels in Bar Harbor allow room blocks, we have no good way to organize a shuttle as everyone will be in different locations. We truly apologize for the inconvenience.

What is the earliest I can arrive?

Answer

DO NOT ARRIVE BEFORE 2:30! Please don't arrive later than 2:45.

Is there an open bar?

Have you met us? Of course. Bar tenders still love tips though <3

Can I Bring a Plus One?

Answer

Unfortunately no. Our venue is very strict on how many people can be at our event. We can not have any extra people on wedding day, and they will kindly be asked to leave.

When is the RSVP Deadline?

Answer

Our Deadline for catering is July 2. Please RSVP by then.

Is the wedding kid Friendly?

Answer

Only for the kids who received an invitation, AKA our flower Girl, Ring Bearer, and Usher.
