Our story began with a week long crush in 2019, although the timing wasn’t exactly on our side. We went on to live our lives, heading back respectively to New Orleans and NYC to grow up, see other people, and somehow kept finding our way back into the same places, the same summers, and each other’s orbit. Then, in the summer of 2022, while playing opposite each other in Guys and Dolls, we became best friends, with our wonderful Allie completing our trio, of course, who will be officiating this special day for us. Somewhere along the way, we realized that what we had was meant to be more. We chose each other, and we’ve been building a life full of laughter, love, dogs, theater, and countless ordinary moments that have become our favorite ones. Our relationship has taught us that love is not only found in the grand gestures. It’s in showing up, choosing each other every day, making each other laugh, being a safe place through the hard moments, and finding joy in the wonderfully ridiculous parts of life. We are each others best friend, teammate, and home, and we can’t wait to celebrate the life we’re creating together. We’re so grateful for the people who have loved us, supported us, and helped us become who we are. Having you with us as we begin this next chapter means more than we can say. On this website, you’ll find all the details you need for our wedding, including the schedule, venue information, travel and accommodations, and more. We hope it helps you feel prepared, and gives you a little glimpse into the story that brought us here. Thank you for being part of our lives and for sharing in this incredibly special moment. We can’t wait to laugh, dance, celebrate, and make more memories with you all! With so much love, Samantha and Trevor
We invite you to put your phones away and be fully present with us throughout the day. To help everyone truly live in the moment, phones will be collected upon arrival and safely stored in a secure location until the celebration ends. Samantha did not have a cell phone until she was 18 and she misses the unplugged lifestyle, when events weren’t about posting to social media but about being fully present in the moment. We have kept our relationship off social media for a reason. Our wedding coordinator will have a phone available for emergencies, so you can rest assured that loved ones can reach you if necessary. Otherwise, we hope you’ll enjoy the day free from screens, notifications, and distractions, celebrating, connecting, dancing, and making memories with us in real time. Thank you for helping us make this a meaningful, unplugged celebration.
