There are no direct flights from the US to the island of Samos. Please book international flights to Athens (ATH) and then book flights from Athens (ATH) to Samos (SMI). Information on Renting Cars in Samos

There are many places to rent cars from that are at the airport and off-site that offer a "meet & greet" service at the airport/port and the resort. Try googling "rental cars samos greece" and plenty trusted companies pop up. At the airport you'll find the familiar companies like Hertz, Enterprise, Alamo, Avis, Budget where you may be able to use points for booking, or receive a discount if you're apart of their loyalty clubs. In transparency, these companies are usually higher in price than the local island companies. If you find a car rental company that offers "meet and greet" you can usually book the cars and confirm reservations in advance, they will meet you at the airport and you won't have to wait in line to retrieve your vehicle. If you're like Leo, you can try to negotiate a better price by paying cash, or book with credit card for the extra peace of mind. These companies can also meet you at the resort, which is a great idea! Note: The cars in Samos are small, and for good reasons. Always research the car type being offered to make sure your party fits comfortably. The Resort has an Enterprise office on site if you decide later that you want to rent a car. They also offer bicycles!
