Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Samantha Arredondo and Leo Foussekis
Here’s a list of some things we have done that we think you may enjoy if you have some time to spend exploring the island!
Pythagorio Port

Pythagorio Port

Pythagorio, Samos, Greece

Pythagorio is the village you will most likely be staying near. It is where our wedding will take place, and it’s closest to the airport. There are so many things to see in Pythagorio. We recommend you spend some time in the Port for shopping, and dining. Walk to the ancient ruins of the Castle of Lykourgos Logothetis and take in beautiful sea views.

Kokkari

Kokkari

Kokkari, Samos, Greece

Another beautiful seaside village to see. Spend time walking around the shops, and dining at cafes, restaurants and bars that sit at the waters edge. We suggest eating at Poseidon for fresh seafood and authentic Greek dishes or if you’re craving Italian food try Girasole for unique pasta dishes.

Monastery of Panagia Spiliani

Monastery of Panagia Spiliani

Pythagorio, Samos, Greece

Make your way up to the Monastery and visit the little church inside the cave, light a candle for safe travels and enjoy spectacular views of the island!

Samos Wine Museum

Samos Wine Museum

Vathy, Samos, Greece

Just a short drive from Pythagorio, stop at the Samos Wine Museum to try the islands famous Muscato Wine.

Livadaki Beach

Livadaki Beach

Agios Paraskevi, Samos, Greece

This is one of our favorite beaches on the island. It's not easy to reach, and you need a car to reach this hidden gem! Plan to get here early to enjoy swimming, using the beach kayaks or sipping on a fresh fruit smoothie at the beach bar! You’ll feel like you’re in paradise!

Potami Waterfalls

Potami Waterfalls

Karlovassi, Samos, Greece

If you’re looking for a very active, outdoor activity try climbing/swimming the Potami Waterfalls. Swimming shoes recommended for this activity, leave your phone behind and connect with nature, unless you have a GoPro or waterproof camera then you’ll definitely want to bring that!
