Can I stay somewhere other than the selected hotel?

Answer

Absolutely, but please note any shuttles or transportation assistance will only be made between the venue and the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Danbury. Some alternative options you may chose to explore are the Hilton Garden Inn, Hotel Zero Degrees Danbury, Springhill Suites Danbury, or the Comfort Inn Brewster, NY. Feel free to check AirBnB or VRBO as well. If you were exploring the venue on Maps, you will see that Heidi's Inn is directly next to the venue. Heidi's Inn is a perfectly fine motor inn, due to room availability and some complaints about water pressure it was not selected as our primary hotel.

Why Brewster,NY?

Answer

Emily's parents, Kathleen and Joseph, have lived in Brewster for 29 years and it is where Emily grew up. Brewster is beautiful in the fall and the location of many family parties, holidays, and cherished memories.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please plan to arrive in advance of 4pm, the venue will be open as will the restaurant. Stop by and chat with the family and friends, or swing by the bar for a pre-wedding cocktail.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Wedding parking is to the right of the main parking lot, just before the main building. Parking here will lead you right to the ceremony. Alternatively, park anywhere in the Las Mananitas parking lot and cut thru the wedding parking lot.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Absolutely! Your children and young adults are more than welcome to celebrate in our nuptials! Please reach out to Emily or Chase if you will need a highchair or other specifics so it can be coordinated with the venue.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Black-Tie Optional: Tuxedos and gowns are welcome, but not required. Venue is artificial turf, please keep that in mind for shoe selection (but don't worry the dance floor is firm). If you feel like dressing to the theme, the wedding is inspired by the existing fall decor in the area. The Party will be wearing fall shades such as brown, yellow, orange, green and red. Weather in October should be 50-70 degrees.

Can I bring a date?

We’ve carefully planned our guest list to ensure we can accommodate everyone and create the best possible experience for all. While we’d love to invite everyone’s significant others, we’ve had to make some tough decisions based on venue capacity and budget. We hope you understand that if a plus one wasn’t included in your invitation, it’s simply because we weren’t able to account for additional guests. We’re excited to celebrate with you and truly appreciate your understanding and support!

Can I take pictures?

Answer

We kindly ask that guests refrain from taking photos during the ceremony and key moments. Our professional photographers are there to capture every special moment for us, and we want to ensure they have the space and freedom to do so without distractions. Additionally, we’d love for everyone to be fully present and engaged in the experience, rather than behind a camera. We truly appreciate your understanding and respect for our wishes as we focus on creating beautiful memories together!
