Our story began in Denver Colorado, where we met in August of 2022. On our first date, we bonded quickly over our shared enjoyment of nature, good food, and the simple joys of life (as well as a few beers). From the start, we felt a strong connection with each other- a connection that grew quickly through camping trips, dinner dates, and casual nights stuck inside during snowstorms. We fit into each others’ social circles easily, and we quickly discovered that we were natural travel companions. After a year and a half of adventures, laughter, and home cooked meals, we moved in together into an apartment in Golden, CO, along with our three cats. Since then, we have enjoyed each other’s company on adventures within Colorado, as well as tropical beaches in Hawaii and Mexico. It was during one of our many trips together in March of 2025, when we finally decided to join our lives together permanently. Steven proposed during a beautiful ocean view sunset on the Island of Roatan, Honduras, and it was everything they wanted- peaceful, romantic, and private. Since then, we have relocated to Asheville, North Carolina, where we have been building our life together (with our new dog), as well as planning our wedding here in these beautiful mountains. Each of you has played a part in our journey along the way and we couldn’t imagine our lives without you in it.
