Hotel
The Eaton is one of our favorite hotels in the city, and where we'll be staying for the wedding weekend. It features an incredible rooftop bar, holistic wellness center, art exhibits, and bluetooth record players with curated vinyls in each room. Dining options include Michelle's, an upscale French-American restaurant and raw bar in addition to a Baker’s Daughter cafe. The Eaton is a 5-minute drive via Uber/Lyft/taxi or a 13-minute walk to both the ceremony and reception. Please note, the Eaton requires proof of vaccination for all guests. Please note: If you would like to stay in DC through the weekend, the block is open through Sunday, May 1st! Though May 1st looks unavailable as a check-out date on the site, if you select that date your reservation will go through.

Flight
Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA) is the closest airport to downtown DC, about a 10-minute drive to either hotel, and Dulles International Airport (IAD) will be about a 40-minute drive, traffic permitting. Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI) can be a budget-friendly option but is typically about an hour drive from DC with traffic - though there are two trains (Amtrak and MARC) that run from the airport that can get you to downtown DC affordably.
Travel Note
As we're sure you can imagine, we are closely monitoring COVID and how it will impact our wedding plans. We are optimistic about the recent decline of COVID-19 cases in the District but please know that no matter what, your health and safety is our priority. Please note that the city of Washington D.C. has recently lifted its mask mandate and proof of COVID-19 vaccine requirement, but some restaurants and indoor facilities may still require these items. We thank you for your understanding, and we look forward to celebrating with you soon!
