As we're sure you can imagine, we are closely monitoring COVID and how it will impact our wedding plans. We are optimistic about the recent decline of COVID-19 cases in the District but please know that no matter what, your health and safety is our priority. Please note that the city of Washington D.C. has recently lifted its mask mandate and proof of COVID-19 vaccine requirement, but some restaurants and indoor facilities may still require these items. We thank you for your understanding, and we look forward to celebrating with you soon!
The dress code is semi-formal. The ceremony is inside a church and the reception will be both indoor and outdoors, with dinner outside and dancing inside. We will do our very best to make sure you are comfortable but given the weather in late April can be unpredictable, a light jacket or shawl might come in handy!
We love children (especially yours!), but we’d like you to join in the celebration and enjoy a night off, so we’re requesting that the kids be left at home. If you are interested in DC-based childcare services, please reach out and we can help provide resources.
While we are not offering transportation between the events, all locations are within a short walking distance or easy ride via Uber, Lyft, or taxi.
We do not recommend driving to the ceremony or reception, as neither have large dedicated parking areas. You may be able to find street parking at both locations if you decide to drive.
We will be offering beef, fish, and vegetarian options for entrees that should fit a wide array of dietary restrictions. If you would like more details about the meal offerings or have special requests, please email or text us and we will make sure you are taken care of.
Yes! We have room blocks at the Eaton DC and the Marriott Marquis hotels - please check the "Travel" tab for more information.
We love to hear that! Check out our "Things to Do" tab where we've outlined some of our favorite museums, restaurants, and activities to do in DC. And if you are staying through Saturday, we'd love to see you at Dacha beer garden for a celebratory post-wedding drink starting at 1 PM (please see 'schedule' page for more information).
