No car needed for this excursion!

Seattle has tons of great parks! Look through the link to get an idea of which you might like to visit. Our recommendations include: Alki Beach Park, Kerry Park (for a great view, aka "Frasier's View"...from the TV show!), Discovery Park, Gas Works Park, Golden Gardens Park, Hamilton Viewpoint Park, Olympic Sculpture Park, Carkeek Park, Volunteer Park, and Magnuson Park. Okay, okay...it was hard to narrow them down!
The main museum is located in downtown Seattle, but they also operate the Seattle Asian Art Museum in Volunteer Park on Capitol Hill as well as the Olympic Sculpture Park on the waterfront.
A unique artistic experience you must see if you go to Seattle Center (which is also home to the Space Needle, Pacific Science Center, Gates Foundation Discovery Center, the Seattle Children's Museum, a neat playground, and MoPOP).

Just across Lake Washington from Seattle, Bellevue offers its own collection of shopping, kayak/canoe/paddle board rentals, botanical gardens, parks, museums, restaurants, breweries, distilleries, exciting night life, and a really cool playground in Inspiration Playground.
Head south on I-5 for about 35 minutes for walks or dinner along Point Ruston and Ruston Way. Head even a bit further south from Tacoma to check out the cute town of Gig Harbor!
