We met through work, becoming friends first. After many months (years?) of debate, we finally decided to take the plunge and start dating. Since then, we've moved 3 times- one of those being across the country- traveled throughout and outside of the US, started new jobs, and set new life goals. Most importantly, though, through all of our change and chaos, our love for each other has only grown stronger.
We were on a week-long cruise with Meagan's family. What with the great company, the royal treatment, and the gorgeous sites, the week was already destined to be amazing. Russ had planned a special moment to propose to Meagan later on in the week, but while we were on our private balcony watching the waves roll by and the lights shine off of the water late that first night, Russ considered a change in plans. He told Meagan, "I love you more than anything." As always, she responded with "I love you more than everything." And he just knew that all of his prior plans would go out that window and that this was the perfect moment. He asked Meagan to wait on the balcony, and when he came back, he asked her to close her eyes. When she opened them, Russ was down on one knee with a beautiful ring in his hand, and he asked Meagan to marry him. It was a wonderful, perfect moment that we'll never forget!
