Yes, the location for both is the MV Skansonia.
The MV Skansonia is permanently moored on Lake Union, so we'll always be connected to land. That being said, the boat is surrounded by water so please keep a close eye on children!
We know for most of you, coming to this wedding is quite a trek. For all of you, it's a sacrifice of your time. Your presence truly would be the greatest gift you could give us. Additionally, we have most everything we need. That being said, we understand that having a registry is helpful to some guests, so we did register on Amazon. You can find the link to that registry on the "Registry" tab of this website. Also on the "Registry" tab you'll find our Honeymoon fund, as traveling and exploring the world together is one of our greatest mutual passions!
Semi-formal-ish. Basically, we'd appreciate if you didn't wear jeans with holes in the knees, but above all else, we'd just like to see you there!
Absolutely. Please notate your dietary restrictions and/or preferences on your RSVP card and we'll make sure you're taken care of.
Yes, you read the date right. When COVID-19 forced us to reschedule our wedding, a Sunday was our best option. We appreciate your flexibility, as we know a Sunday wedding isn't ideal for many!
Please return your RSVP card by August 7, 2021. If you misplace your card, you can RSVP directly to Meagan or Russ.
There will be an open bar, so please come ready to celebrate!
There is very limited parking available at the MV Skansonia and a bit more available across the street, but we do encourage you to take advantage of the complimentary shuttle we're providing back and forth between the Hilton Garden Inn Seattle Downtown and the MV Skansonia.
A charter bus has been reserved to transport guests from the Hilton Garden Inn Downtown to the MV Skansonia and then back again. We don't have exact times ironed out yet, but on your RSVP card, please let us know how many seats you'd like to reserve for the shuttle and we'll make sure to announce exact details as we sort them out.
Of course! As long as you can get to the hotel to hop on the shuttle and at the end of the evening can get from the hotel to where you're staying, you're more than welcome to still reserve seats on the shuttle.
That's really up to what your plans entail. Please see the "Travel and Lodging" tab of this website for more information on transportation options to and from the airport as well as for information about the many public transportation options available to you. The Hilton Garden Inn is located within walking distance to many Seattle-area attractions and most others are a short Uber or Lyft ride away.
When you receive your invitation, the inner envelope will indicate who we'd love to have here to celebrate with us!
If you received a Save the Date, a wedding invitation was also sent out! If you don't receive it by July 15, please reach out to Meagan or Russ, as there may have been an issue with the post office delivery.
Unless you are contacted by Matron of Honor Rachel Terlep about taking video, we kindly ask that you refrain from taking your own photos during the ceremony. We have a team of very talented photographers and we want to make sure they can get in to do their jobs. That being said, as soon as we say, "I do" please take as many pictures as you'd like!
We do! Please tag #ABoatToBeBoxleys if you post any photos from the day on social media so we can easily see them all.
We want to make sure all of your questions are answered! Please reach out to Meagan by E-mail at MTerlep@gmail.com if you need anything at all.
