Tucson Folk Festival April 4th to 6th

Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum
This is a must when you visit Tucson. You get to experience the history, nature, wildlife, and beautiful plants that Arizona offers! Gates Pass Scenic Lookout is located 8 minutes from the museum on your way back into town. It is a beautiful view and if you are around in the evening, you can see an unforgetable sunset view in the Saguaro National Park. Located ~35 minutes from the Sheraton Tucson Hotel
Southern Arizona Balloon Excursions

Mount Lemmon
Mount Lemmon is the closest skiing near us. Derek has been snowboarding multiple times on this 1-lift mountain. He always comes back sunburnt, but happy. The annual Octoberfest is held at the top of the mountain. There is a small town called Summerhaven, camping, restaurants, and art. The drive up is one of the best parts. Very scenic!
