This is a must when you visit Tucson. You get to experience the history, nature, wildlife, and beautiful plants that Arizona offers! Gates Pass Scenic Lookout is located 8 minutes from the museum on your way back into town. It is a beautiful view and if you are around in the evening, you can see an unforgetable sunset view in the Saguaro National Park. Located ~35 minutes from the Sheraton Tucson Hotel
Mount Lemmon is the closest skiing near us. Derek has been snowboarding multiple times on this 1-lift mountain. He always comes back sunburnt, but happy. The annual Octoberfest is held at the top of the mountain. There is a small town called Summerhaven, camping, restaurants, and art. The drive up is one of the best parts. Very scenic! Located ~1 hour from the Sheraton Tucson Hotel
Trail Dust Town is a historical area that offers a variety of activities such as Pistoleros Wild West Show, rides on the miniature Huntington Railroad, PollyAnna Amusement Park, resturants to eat at, and many shops for great gifts and souvenirs. Located ~5 minutes from the Sheraton Tucson Hotel
This is one of our favorite restaurants around! We aren't sure if it's due to the food or that we can play ping pong and cornhole for hours here... Either way, it's a great spot to get together with a group of people and have fun! Located ~10 minutes from the Sheraton Tucson Hotel
This place is very unique. This is a delicious brunch spot that is located in a quiet botanical garden. We have been there a few times and always enjoy ourselves. Located ~20 minutes from the Sheraton Tucson Hotel
