Best Man
Brother of the Groom, he's provided advice to Jeremy for every event or trip he's planned. He's happy to help you chart the best route to travel to our wedding. (No, really: please direct all travel-related inquiries to Aaron.)
Maid of Honor
Arielle, Sam's identical twin sister, sometimes forgets they look alike. She dressed her bridal party in white at her own wedding-- and several guests assumed maid of honor Sam was the bride! Sam promises that she really is the bride this time around.
Groomsman/Officiant
Friends with Jeremy since high school, Robert is a Brooklyn-based party planner in his spare time. He'd be happy to consult with you for your next event. Robert is deeply in touch with his spiritual side and we are thrilled that he will be officiating our wedding!
Bridesmaid
Franni, Sam's classmate at Wesleyan, is the ultimate renaissance woman. This nurse practitioner/yogi/film connoisseur will heal your wounds, ease your mind, and tell you everything you ever wanted to know about Amy Heckerling if any of these needs arise during the wedding weekend.
Groomsman
Chris, the master entertainer, was Jeremy's fraternity brother at Cornell. There, Chris wowed Jeremy with his culinary skills and his broccoli so impressed Jeremy's mother that he now has an open invite to prepare dinner at the Rosenweig household.
Bridesmaid
Emily and Sam lived together for three years at Wesleyan. It wasn't uncommon to find them singing gospel music from their ebony singers choir class or applying Red Hot Chili Peppers melodies to Adon Olam while leading services at the Bayit. If you need a bit of inspiration during the hora, Emily will be bringing the ruach!
Groomsman
Alex and Jeremy were fraternity brothers at Cornell and bonded over football and foosball. After seeing curling in the Olympics long ago Alex took up the sport himself and has been rocking the stones in the Bay Area ever since.
Bridesmaid
Avery, Sam's classmate at Harvard, is the original sperm lady. Sam was so impressed by Avery's gamete-oriented research that she has since pursued her own dissertation project on male infertility. Ask Avery about her thesis work for a fascinating conversation at cocktail hour.
Groomsman
Brian is Jeremy's earliest acquaintance made in LA. They used to go to the beach and play flag football together. Each winter, Brian really enjoyed reminding Jeremy how great the weather is there, having Jeremy question why he ever left. That was until recently, when Brian decided to move back east and question himself instead.
Bridesmaid
If you think Mary, Sam's former Harvard classmate, is impressive for completing her PhD in four years, just wait until you learn about her social intelligence! Mary has the ability to remember names, details, and relationships like she's ancestry.com. If you can't remember how cousin Jane Doe is related to John, just ask Mary!
Groomsman
This Sam was first in Jeremy's life- they met in LA but he moved to Boston because it's better here. Sam enjoys drinking craft beer and watching football far more than the one Jeremy is marrying, which is why they're still allowed to hang out.
Bridesmaid
Tammy, Sam's former labmate, received the first proposal for this wedding when Sam asked her to be a bridesmaid at Walt Disney World in January 2018. Sam knew this would be her only chance to pop the question in person because Tammy works as a genetic counselor in England! Tammy wins the award for most miles traveled for our wedding events, and she’ll win you over when you meet her!
Officiant
Nathaniel, Sam's first cousin, has officiated several family weddings and baby namings (including for Sam's niece Ava). When not serving as the family rabbi, Nathaniel can be found saving the world through countless advocacy organizations and as a lawyer in DC. We're lucky to have him play such an important role on our big day!
Officiant
Sam's Uncle, Rabbi Stuart Berman, officiated Sam's parents' wedding in 1988! We're thrilled to continue this tradition as Uncle Stuart co-officiates our Jewish marriage ceremony with his son, Nathaniel. Uncle Stuart is so enthusiastic about our marriage that he had given us his officiant business card over ten months before we got engaged!
Ring Bearer
Our nephew Matthew is so excited to be the ring bearer that he arrived two weeks early. Welcome to the party, Matthew James!
Flower Girl
Jeremy can't wait to receive his official title of "uncle!"
