Hotel
Update: All regular rooms at Water's Edge are booked. There are still some larger, more expensive rooms available, but our discounted rate does not apply. Other frugal options are still available in the area.
Hotel
A moderate option that is a 10 minute drive from the venue. Our room block cutoff date has passed but there are still rooms available at a slightly higher rate. Please mention the Schilit/Rosenweig wedding when booking so we know you are staying here.
House Or Rental
There are many bed and breakfast inns in the neighborhood if you're looking for something with classic New England charm, along with AirBnB options (which generally do not include breakfast, despite the name).
Flight
For many of our guests traveling by airplane, Hartford Bradley will be the best option as it is the closest airport with some convenient direct flights. BDL is approximately a one hour drive from the venue. Renting a car from here is strongly recommended.
Flight
Providence T. F. Green Airport is another great airport option with a good number of short-haul flights daily. It is just over an hour's drive from the venue. Renting a car from here is strongly recommended.
Flight
Boston Logan Airport has direct flights to many destinations, although it is farther away at just over a two hour drive from the venue. Renting a car from here is strongly recommended. Please note that the Boston Marathon on Monday, April 15 may cause traffic to be worse than usual.
Flight
New York City has two major airports that are both approximately a two hour drive from the venue if traffic is light. However, due to city and I-95 congestion, it may take around three hours to get to the venue from these airports, even on weekends. Please plan accordingly. Newark (EWR) is even farther away. Renting a car from here is strongly recommended.
Train
The Northeast Regional service by Amtrak has departures from many major cities and stops at nearby Old Saybrook. A car service would be required to travel the last four miles to reach the venue.
