One of the main highlights of Block Island and probably the most photographed place on the Island. A beautiful place to admire the bluffs and walk along the beach, and you'll get a workout in too with a 140 step staircase that leads to the beach!
A beautiful lighthouse on the Northern most tip of the island. If you rent a moped, this is a great destination to walk the beach in the morning where you may see seals that hang out off the coast. Also a beautiful place to watch the sunset!
Arguably the second most photographic location featuring a newly rebuilt and refurbished Lighthouse with regular tours and views of one of the world's first ocean wind farms providing power to the Island.
If you’re looking for natural peace and quiet, this 190-acre parcel on the northeast part of the island contains some of the island’s most spectacular scenery.
A quieter beach that's a little further from town, so will likely need a car/bike/moped to get there. It's especially nice for those who want more space and less people during the end of the tourism season.
You'll need a car/bike/moped to get there, but this is one of our favorite places to picnic, take long walks, and enjoy the large sprawling beach with views of the Old Harbor.
There are so many great places to dine and enjoy the traditional Northeast fare of lobster, clams, oysters, chowder, and everything in between, please check out some of the most recommended places at the link below.
While Block Island may be small in size, there is so much to enjoy! We recommend you check out this site for a complete list ranging from Art Galleries to Spa's.
