One of the nice things about Manhattan, KS is that there are now direct flights on American Airlines from Dallas and Chicago.  The Kansas City airport is well served by Southwest and other major airlines, and is a little over 2 hours away by car.  

Out of town guests would be welcome to stay at our house.  We have heard that The Bluemont Hotel and the Hilton Garden Inn are good places to stay. For those with military privileges, Fort Riley has excellent accommodations.
