She was forced to share a bedroom with me while in high school and yet still chose to answer my middle school phone calls while she was in college. Her love and generosity are unmatched and I have been blessed beyond belief to have her on my side throughout my life.
Jake Patton
Best Man
Nights of HiLo, bass lines, and being overly enthusiastic about OU football, Jake and his partner Wendy have been among Robert's closest friends since Upper Division at Casady School. Robert's favourite memories with Jake can be found in dive bars and the old pool house where they wrote music together. He now lives in Austin, TX where he designs mass-market video games.
Julia Gerstmann
Matron of Honor
My second mother, bossy older sister, and best friend. I lucked out with Julia in my life - she is a fierce defender of her people and guaranteed to make any night 10x more fun. She's the queen of everything sparkly and a pediatric nurse at Children's. Truly a superhero!
Andrew Griffin

Walks around the park, a bad news bar, and an unsettled FIFA score, Andrew has been Robert's best friend in Houston since Andrew moved from NYC. They have their mothers to blame (thank) for their friendship, and Andrew and his wife Leo have become lifelong friends to Robert & Ginny. Andrew serves as VP at Morgan Stanley in Houston, TX.

My soul sister - the one to stay in with me on Friday nights in college to make cookies and watch old movies. The classiest among us, a loyal companion, and the most genuine person I know. My friendship with Buford has challenged me to become a better version of myself.

Computer lab flash battles, stolen ties, and antagonizing "the foot", Jack has been one of Robert's closest friends since middle school at Casady. He currently is in residency at OUHSC in OKC in obstetrics and gynecology surgery focusing on oncology.
Allie Woods

Allie and Ginny met during their freshman year in college. They lived in kitty-corner dorms and quickly became best friends by pulling pranks on others! Allie is quick to laugh and easy to love, she is now a GRADUATE with a Master's in Education from SMU and is the best Assistant Principle in Dallas ISD.
James Gerstmann

Tech support, power naps, and proper football, James quickly became Robert's go-to for keeping up with the Walters as well as a good laugh or chat. He is married to Ginny's sister Julia and has three amazing kids - Evelyn, Lizzy, and Zach. He currently oversees a variety of systems and IT functions for Southwest in Dallas, TX.

My partner in crime, the bridesmaid most likely to get the party started, and the most honest person I know. We served together in college to minister to middle schoolers. We grew to be best friends through the ridiculousness that is working with middle schoolers.

Cross country running, orchestra trips, and lock-ins with too much Dr. Pepper, Jerry has been by Robert's side from their middle school days at Casady. Some of his best memories are in Jerry's old house in Edmond, OK, and with his family in Shanghai, China. Jerry is now studying to be an orthodontist in Pittsburg, PA.

Carson is the bridesmaid most likely to get me into trouble. Since the night in college we took advantage of a 2 for 1 cartilage piercing deal - Carson has been one of my closest friends. Continually challenging my assumptions and being a constant cheerleader in my life. She’s a Staff Attorney at Texas Appleseed and is one of life’s biggest blessings!
Parker Foster

Mario Kart, magisters, and Italian beers, Parker has become one of Robert's closest friends in Houston. Robert and Ginny met Parker and his wife Allison through Blake and Jacey Howle. Robert and Parker bonded over a shared love of soccer and Nintendo games they grew up playing which are now apparently considered "retro". Parker works for PWC in Houston.
Claire Vick

I first met Claire on a whirlwind trip to India with the Vick family. She’s the best travel planner you can find and although I met her through Robert (as she is his younger sister), I am happy to call her a friend. She’s an accountant at EY, but her biggest claim to fame is finding Albus, and bringing him into our lives!

Cigars, tossing the pigskin, and confetti egg fights, Marcus has welcomed Robert into the fold from the word go. Always quick with a joke and wry smile, Marcus is Ginny's brother and father to three great boys - Jay, Jack, and Ward. He is also a dedicated partner to his wife Chandler. Marcus pilots with Southwest Airlines and the U.S. Navy and is based out of Ft. Worth, TX.

My adopted sister - shes been in my life since before I could remember and we were so blessed our families "forced" us to be friends. The go-to for a girls movie night and "my best friend and sister" since that memorable night in 2012. Her laugh is infectious and she is a friend to everyone she meets.

I met Sylvia in college, we became sorority sisters and I had the privilege of living with her for three years. She was our go-to home decorator and one of the most dedicated people I know. She’s now in residency for internal medicine in San Antonio and despite her crazy work-life she still finds time to call and check-in. She is a fierce friend and it is an honor to have her standing by my side!

Evelyn is my first niece and the only one to love Albus as much as Aunt Ninny. She is creative, thoughtful, and sincere and it is a privilege to be her aunt!

Jay! Our bookworm, and fellow gamer. He's a great shot at tennis with some wicked-good aim. He is mischievous and smart and we looooove hanging out with him!

Lovingly known as Lizard Breath, she is silly and sweet. Lizzy's sassiness can keep up with Robert and Ninny and she always keeps us laughing.

Robert met Zach while potty training, and their bond has been inseparable ever since. Somehow he trusts Zach to make it down the aisle with the ring in tow. If you see him at the wedding, ask him to tell you a story!

Our bundle of energy - this one may run down the aisle! We love Ward's love of animals and hope to one day meet his gecko named Lightning.
