We fell in love with Palazzo di Varignana because of their wine and olive oil tastings on site. In 2016, Palazzo di Varignana began planting their vineyards to begin the initial production of 5 different wines. Additionally, in 2016, Palazzo di Varignana began their production of olive oil from their own olive trees, which extends for 265 hectares. They produce one of the most awarded and recognized extra virgin olive oil in the world! We highly recommend doing a combined olive oil and wine tasting of Palazzo di Varignana's own olive oil and wine. You even get a tour of their production site!

Palazzo di Varignana spa has endless options and activities. Every guest has free access to the spa facilities throughout their stay at the hotel. At the spa, you can swim in the 7 indoor and outdoor pools, relax in the sauna or steam rooms, or take a dip in the cold plunge pool. If you are really feeling like treating yourself, you can get various spa treatments such as a massage or facial, at a reasonable cost! Palazzo di Varignana has an authentic vintage coach, dating back to 1921. This train car has been transformed into a restaurant that you may have a 7 course dinner in! We absolutely loved this experience when we visited. It is a true culinary journey that celebrates the historical period and the routes of the Royal Train, paired with delicious food courses and wine.
Museum Ferrari Maranello
Just about an hour car ride away from the venue, you can go visit the Ferrari Museum. Not only can you explore the museum exhibits, you can also do a Ferrari semi-professional simulator experience. Lamborghini Automobile Museum
Also just about an hour away is the Lamborghini factory! The factory and museum will share with you the fascinating history, iconic models and tours of the production lines. Similar to the Ferrari Museum, it also offers an interactive experience, also provided by a new driving simulator! Cooking Class or a Food Tour in Bologna
