Let's have the best Monday by relaxing by the pool, swimming, eating delicious pizza, and drinking an Italian spritz (or two)! Come hang out with us at Palazzo di Varignana's Villa Amagioia to kick off the week! Please come in your best casual Italian summer fit and or swimsuit.

Explore Bologna & Other Italian Cities

Since you are traveling all the way to Italy to celebrate with us, we want you to be able to relax, enjoy, and explore Bologna as well. Please enjoy your Tuesday by spending it how you want! Bologna has a historical town which is about a 45 minute drive away from our venue. Go into town, shop, and try some delicious bolognese pasta (Bailey's absolute favorite and originating in Bologna).

If you want to stay onsite, Palazzo di Varignana has many on site activities including a driving range to golf, a winery to wine taste, olive oil tasting, multiple pools, and a spa to sauna, steam, and get a massage! We recommend doing it all! Bologna is also right in the middle of various Italian cities that are easy to get to by train. We also encourage you to take this day to go and explore another city you have or haven't been to before! If you were to take a train, you can easily get to the following cities: Florence in 35 minutes, Milan in 1 hour, Verona in 1.5 hours, & Venice in 2 hours. Explore Bologna and surrounding Italian cities as you wish. Wedding Ceremony & Reception

We kindly ask for black-tie attire. We also are requesting you wear only the color black. For more details, see FAQ.

Please arrive between 3:45-4:00 PM and find a seat! The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:10 PM. Dinner, drinks, and dancing to follow. Please note that we highly recommend staying on site at the venue so you can easily walk back to your hotel room after we dance the night away. If you decide to stay offsite, the hotel reception desk will be able to call you a taxi to take you to your desired destination after the wedding. Although there are Ubers in Bologna, there may be few Ubers in the area in the late hours of the night. Whilst we love little ones, we kindly request that our wedding is an adults only celebration!
