Question
Is there anything I should know prior to traveling?
Answer
Yes! You need a valid passport that’s valid for at least six months beyond your intended travel date. Since you're attending our wedding in September 2025, your passport must be valid until at least April 2025. Additionally, Italy has a new travel requirement to enter. You need an ETIAS. Check our "Getting to Bologna" page for the link to apply to the ETIAS. If you are planning to travel to the UK, there is also a new travel requirement to enter. You need an ETA. Check out "Getting to Bologna" page for the link to apply to the ETA.

Is there a dress code?
Answer
We would LOVE to see our family and friends get dressed up for our big day! We kindly ask for black tie attire. We also are requesting that all guests come in all black. Women please wear black maxi-length dresses or black floor-length dresses. Men please wear black tailored suits, black tuxes, black ties, with white or black dress shirts. We kindly ask for you to wear no other colored attire, other than black. Additionally, no jeans, sneakers, hats, short dresses, or any casual wear. When should I rsvp by? How do I rsvp?

To RSVP, please RSVP on our website under the "RSVP" tab. The deadline to RSVP is July 1st. Please respond at your earliest convenience. Can't wait to celebrate with you!

When should I book a room by?
Answer
Unfortunately, our room block with our pricing ends on March 1st. Although rooms will be available after our room block ends (through the website), the pricing as well as specific room availability may not be guaranteed. We have a room block which 4 tiers of rooms available. Prior to March 1, please email our event planner, Tatjana at eventiprivati@palazzodivarignana.com and let her know you are interested in booking a room with our room block pricing. During the week, Tatjana responds to emails within 24 hours and will assist you with booking a room of your preference! After March 1st, our room block pricing ends. We love your little ones! However, we thought you might like a night (or a week) off. Adults only please!

Can I bring a plus one?
Answer
Due to limited capacity at the venue, we cannot accommodate anyone who is not listed on your invitation. We would like to keep our wedding an intimate event and celebrate with our closest family and friends. Thank you for understanding! ♡
