We met the summer before our senior year of high school at what we affectionately call "nerd camp", a 3-week camp on the campus of WashU in St. Louis, MO. After almost a month of living on the same floor of a dorm building, we parted ways back to Ohio and Colorado but stayed in contact. Our connection and common interests eventually developed into our relationship today, with us dating long-distance for 4 years during undergrad. Adam would visit Becca (and occasionally vice-versa, but Becca hates driving) at Miami University in Ohio, driving over 8 hours one way from Rochester, NY just for a weekend. After graduating, we moved to Toledo, Ohio where we lived until January of this year. Toledo brought many great adventures including our first two apartments together, meeting some of our best friends (and growing closer to old ones), and of course adopting our dog Stanley. We recently started a new journey together in Dayton, Ohio where Adam accepted a job offer with AV, an Air Force contractor focusing on biophysiology improvements for military service members. Becca is now working at Dayton Children's Hospital with children learning to communicate. We are so excited for this next chapter!
